Oh, and KingEnigma is the Ventriloquist. I'm wondering if Scarface is in this game and if he is could he perhaps be a partner to KingEnigma.

Interesting. I can't tell if this was serious or just a joke, but I am assuming the latter at the moment.

I don't see any reason that either Batman and co or the villains should be the mafia in this game. The opening post makes it clear that a 'small group' from within those trapped are doing the killing, and also suggests that Batman, Robin and Nightwing could have been taken over in some way - so, it may be villains killing other villains and the heroes indiscriminately, the heroes gone a tad extreme or a mixture of villains and heroes.

I'd agree that KingEnigma is probably the Ventriloquist. However, as explained above, that doesn't help us with knowing who is scum and who isn't.

I'm thinking that at least one Mafia member would have a posting restriction. I'm just trying to figure out everyone that has one so I can keep an eye on them. I'm not saying they should be our targets but it's just something that's occurred to me.

This is my take on the opening scene:
MOD wrote:It was a nice waiting room, and he had good company. The army of Gotham Finest standing there in front of him, the receptionist chewing his toe. The big poster exclaiming "Please be aware that you are unlikely to leave here with all your internal organs"
We are obviously in a place of incarceration. As we read further, we find out that it is Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane.
MOD wrote:"For gods sake, sit down! We might not even be needed tonight. Batman, Robin and Nightwing are in there, I'm sure they can sort out the ruckus." James Gordon said... He knew that there was something more though, the hairs of his moustache were standing on end... never a good sign. He picked up the latest issue of "Gotham Superstar".
Gordon just told us that Batman, Robin and Nightwing are in the assylum as well. This must mean that these three roles are definately a part of the game. Something, however, is making Gordon feel uneasy.
MOD wrote:He had finished reading an interesting article about famous magician Zatanna and was going through the problem pages (my husbands turning into a crocodle) when Dr Arkham burst through the door.
Confirmation that something is not right in Arkham Asylum.
MOD wrote:"Something terrible has happened. All the major criminals have been released and a small group of them are going round killing the inmates and trying to take over Arkham" Dr Arkham said worriedly. "I've got the 12 suspects down in the most secure wing, they won't escape..."

"Yes but thats where Batman, Robin and Nightwing are, we cant leave them in there with the psycopaths" Gordon cried

"For all we know, they could have been taken over" Arkham said "Their on there own"
It doesn't make sense to me that a super hero would go around and start killing inmates in a prison, especially when they most likely had a hand putting them behind bars. In the paragraph above, Dr. Arkham states, "All the major criminals have been released and a small group of them are going round killing the inmates and trying to take over Arkham." It seems to me that we are dealing with a core group of rogue villians.

What makes you so sure?

Darla = Riddler (if I didn't say that already)

Also, I think there's a way to unlock your role that you had on the outside of prison. These bars can't hold this kitty for long.

I am in agreement with the cat that has been traipsing through my laboratory -- what is leading you to believe that there are post restrictions? Have you seen something thus far that stands out as reasonable proof for this theory?

The constant cat references from charter. Our ventriloquist having a speech impediment. There could be more but not everyone has been an active poster.

we are talking agout how some people have speech impediments, which is insulting I don't have a speech impediment, lets go find those gad guys!

Okay, we "know" who some people are, gut, that really does not help. Has anyone even thought to ask those that are the "mafia" to just come out and admit it? No, nogody ever does that. I'll ask, cause I'm no dummy.

This is true. I assumed that the constant cat references were just playful banter, but there could indeed be more to it. The same applies to KE's insertion of "g" instead of "b."

The cat references, though, could point to a number of different characters, though Catwoman is the most obvious. The g/b substitution points towards the Ventriloquist/Scarface, one of the best modern Batman villains. But is he scum? We really have no way of telling.

I do. After all, it appears that the game consists predominately of villains, exception being the three heroes, and, as previously addressed I don't believe the mod would have made the heroes scum.

Its entirely possible that the heroe's are scum, 3 scum in a mini is not unstandard.

I'm not the only one that thinks this am I? I mean, it would seem reasonable for for the 3 heroes to be scum and have been given false claims AND PRs.
