Open 44 Twofold mafia 2:2:8. Everything fell into place. Second to last day opened 3:2:1 with me as the 1. I drove a scum lynch, NK'd his partner, got them to kill the townie that I had linked to my bus'd partner from Day2 on, and to top it off I had been buddying up to the confirmed innocent that decided the game since Day1.

what's your worst game as scum so far?

Uprising Mafia. Some times its better to just shut up. But vollkan never should have voted for me.

If you were going to die, but had one more mafia game you could play and you could choose any theme you wanted, what would it be and why?

Not sure. Something that is whimsical and doesn't make much sense and has a great cast, lasts for 40+years and involves free food being mailed to my house on a regular basis.

What is your favorite cheese and how is it best served?

I really wish I could be a cheese snob but I'm too poor/cheap at the moment. My boss brings in really nice cheeses every once in a while but I have no idea what they are. One of my favorite snacks is a thick slice of sharp Chedder with a chunk of raw bell pepper on it. Also like mozzarrella with tomatoes oil and a dash of salt.

What are you studying in grad school?

Developmental Neurobiology. Specifically looking at how certain circuits in the zebrafish retina are established using in vivo time lapse imaging.

How long have you been married?

11 months. But we've been an item for nearly 10 years now.

What is the coolest thing about being married?

Knowing that she'll be next to me every morning when I wake up. Also my wife is pretty good at the real world where I fail (ie. being responsible with paying bills, investing for retirement etc.etc.)

What's the most frustrating thing about being married?

My wife's a bit clingy. Sometimes I wish I could have a bit more personal space.

Have you played (the Diablo clone) Titanquest? If so, what do you think of it?

No. Strangely (or sadly) enough I've only ever played Diablo and Diablo II. A friend tried to get me into Oblivion but I didn't really like the wandering for hours to find an encounter and was horrible at controling the vantage point.

Will Blizzard announce Diablo 3 shortly as is rumoured?

I've learned with Blizzard you can never count on anything being remotely on time especially when it comes to Diablo. Their entire Blizzard North team (the folks that made the Diablo series) left just after the first rumors of D3 were leaking. I really don't know when they'll announce.

You've mentioned bad eyesight? How bad? Have you considered laser surgery?

I've got keratoconus, which can't undergo lasik. It's basically a cone shaped abberation on the cornea. In my right eye it obscures my foveal vision completely, in the left eye it's rather peripheral. So I can wear glasses and have about 20/25 in the left but see jack shit out of the right. If I wear rigid contact lenses I can get about 20/20 in the left and 20/30 or so in the right, but I hate rigid contacts. The field of view is really really small so it's like having tunnel vision, and the in focus regions are constantly shifting due to the contacts floating around on the eyes. This also means the correction is not always lined up right so each time you blink your visual acuity changes. Not to mention wearing them is like having to plastic shards in your eye all day.

Not so much. I've only gotten into politics in the last year or two. I was going to help Obama after he got the nom but his FISA stance is really worrying me at this point. I might go out and help Darcy Burner though, she's definitely got progressive cred.

I don't go to parties much. But I wouldn't rabidly debate people I don't know very well. I will get into it with people I know. That's likely a lot more related to my social awkwardness than my political leanings.

Ahhh I found it. I'd say the imagery was nice, the path to the opening was a bit tortured, but I enjoyed the subtle absurdity. I'd say 7.5 of 10.
