• A majority of votes by the living players is required to lynch. The number of players alive, and the number of votes needed to lynch will be posted in each vote count and will always be in the first post. You may

  if you do not wish to lynch anybody during the day. Once a lynch (or No Lynch) has occurred, no changes in votes or pleas for survival will be accepted.
  
• Days will last no longer than
  three weeks

• Once you have been killed, you are dead. A "Bah" post is acceptable, but no game-relevant information may be posted. This includes posts by a lynched player during Twilight.

• You may not communicate with any player outside the thread unless specifically stated in your role PM.
  
• You may not quote any out-of-thread communications, such as role PMs.
  
• Night choices must be submitted to me by the date and time as posted by the me during the lynch scene. Each night will last no less than 24 hours.
  
• If you anticipate being unavailable for more than a 48-hour period, please post a notice to that effect in the thread.
  Treat this game as a commitment. Be considerate – don’t leave us hanging.
  
• Green italics
  are reserved for my own use, in the event that I feel it is appropriate to edit or comment on another player's post. Anybody else posting in green italics will have their post edited or deleted by me, as appropriate.
  
• Have fun, be kind and considerate to the players and the moderator, and do your best!

Furthermore, I expect my players to be active. Any player who does not post for 72 consecutive hours will be prodded. If they fail to post within 48 hours of my sending the prod, they will be replaced. Any player who is prodded four times within a two-gameday span will be replaced outright.

Exceptions may be made on an individual basis for players who post in-thread announcing absences ahead of time.

The protown win condition is as follows:

You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated and at least one protown player remains alive.

All scum win conditions are as follows:

You win when your faction gains and cannot lose a majority of the town's population

There may be other win conditions for other roles/alignments.

"Okay, folks. With your help, we are going to bring the game of Mafia to prime time television. And I need all of YOU to be at your absolute best in order to make this thing a success. WFOS is keeping a close eye on ratings this week, and I will not tolerate failure! Or smoking."

A man wearing a mask reading "al_kohaulec" sheepishly put out a cigarette as the show's director, the wildly popular character referreed to simply as "Glork," stared daggers into him.

"Now. You all have been briefed regarding your roles on this show, and after our rigorous selection process, I am fully convinced that each and every one of you will put on a specatcular display for our audience this week. Any questions? Good. Now get going."

It is now (finally!) Day One. With twelve alive, it takes 7 to lynch. Day will end at or before 10:30 AM EST on Saturday, July 26.

I just got a tingle up my spine and it's not because I'm trying to poop in a parking lot! Welll, not wholly. There's no newbies in this game. I don't have to deal with the "he's not scum but he's odd" series of votes!

In other news, Thok declared the intentions of wanting to pressure mos with his vote. Because of that, mos does not necessarily have any real threat against him, so he has no real imperative *to* talk. And, as you can see, he hasn't.

Just voting him and saying lynching him early (or bandwagoning him at lesst if you didn't want to be counterwagoned) would have been much more effective
