The case against Grimmy is looking stronger, but I'm going to go through the thread again myself before I make a final decision. Relying solely on other people's opinions (however true they may be) has not served me well in the past.

I've been busy with work and weekend stuff. I'll try to get a few posts in this week, and I shouldn't be too busy on the weekend.

I pretty much agree with what Occult has said. Grimmy's case is weak and possibly rooted in OMGUS, but he isn't terribly scummy in my eyes.

Specifically on his case on neko: neko has been a bit controlling of the game, but I've seen plenty of experienced players be a bit forceful in games (newbie games in particular). There's nothing inherently scummy about it, and it's pro-town in some cases when they actually know better than the rest of us what's going on.

Waiting on mz to give his thoughts on the game.

@freckles, what pushed you over the edge on the Grimmy issue?

Ok, finally had a chance to read everything a few times:

IMO, Grimmy, and Neko are pushing buttons and that leaves me wondering a little about what is behind it.

Not sure about a lot of the early action from Mispeled and Freckles..still undecided on them and will see how it plays out.

Have doubts about Mama Luigi's intentions based on a couple comments....but low on list

Kang, and Mccleod haven't given me much to go on but Kang was on my suspicious list until I realized his last post was June 11th from what I could tell.

Occult is a wild card right now IMO and really can't place my finger on it but.

Dudes.

Deadline
is set for
2:30 p.m. EST Thursday, July 3
-- about one week from this post.

Here's how it works: when the deadline hits, night falls regardless of whether players have reached a majority decision. Player with most votes at deadline will hang. Usually mods require there be at least half the usual number of votes...so that means, in this case, at least 3 votes. If there's a tie for three votes, whichever player got there first is the lucky winner of a noose 'round the neck. If no player has at least 3 votes, everyone keeps breathing, though night will still fall. If a majority decision (five votes) is reached before deadline, night will fall as usual.

Got it?

Hello?

Just fyi, I'll have limited access for the next couple weeks, but I should be able to post enough to keep up with the game.

Anyway, we've got about 5 RL days left, so, it's crunch-time people, and I haven't seen many cases be presented.

If you don't want to join a bandwagon, now is the time to present a case for an alternative. Everyone should be voting by deadline, and should be voting in a manner that ensures a lynch. We do
not
want a no-lynch.

mod
: can we get a prod on bmmcleod and kang? thanks

If we have to lynch someone, and no one is lynchable based on scumminess, MamaLuigi might be worth lynching on the basis that he probably isn't going to be very pro-town (unless he's a pro-town powerrole). I'm not saying we should go there yet, or that he should roleclaim, but it's an option to keep in mind.

And I am back.

after getting a sick tan at the beach I resume the game of mafia.
I was expecting more, not much but a page or so in a week.
with a deadline put in place I think things are going to heat up with a rush to vote. although I don't expect anything to drastic.

my vote stays on neko because I like spicy taco sauce on my chicken.

Cool, so I have the most votes with the least explanation.

Seriously, everyone read my case on Grimmy and tell me why, specifically, you're not going to vote for him if that's the route you choose. I've heard a couple vague comments now about it not being enough for a lynch, and I might otherwise agree, but
we are in a deadline!

I don't like the idea of lynching mama solely on being useless when there is another player who has been outright scummy.

Hold on, is the vote count accurate? I thought I voted Grimmy and I thought Grimmy was voting me. Well,
vote: Grimmy
for good measure. One more will ensure a lynch.

Well, Grimmy is a bit scummy. Well, honestly, the only scummy thing I've seen was the OMGUS case he put up against you. The case against him up to that point was weak.

I guess you're right. He's a better choice than a throwaway-lynch like MamaLuigi is. I'd really just like to have a better lynch than that. :\
