Sorry, but what is the purpose of the seven day time limit? If we fail to curse someone by the end of it, is it just that the clock and vote count are reset, but otherwise the game goes on or am I missing something?
Thank you, and is a cursed player allowed to not pass the scroll on? Or if they fail to pass the scroll on, does mafia get to pick who they pass it to?
I'll allow placeholder votes using the HURT: tags in the event someone forgets to pass it on. The person it's passed to will simply default to the placeholder they've put down earlier.
If no placeholder vote was used, I'll pick the last living/non-cursed player the scroll bearer has voted in the game, to receive the scroll.
If the above is not applicable, I'll allow mafia to pick.
Will have to expand my knowledge of curses, but I've always appreciated the curse of Macbeth. All theatre productions should have the threat of supernatural hijinks hanging over them.
There's a lot of good curses. Haunted objects you can't discard or sell is an eternal favorite. But my ABSOLUTE favorite is the "curse of Cain" type: immortality, terrible things follow in your wake, forever travelling from place to place, living among the beasts. Great plot hook.
(If you have not posted your favourite curse already, I recommend that you do. Looking at:

OH, real quick, can i also throw book curses into the pot? Book curses are REAL good. They're curses written in really old books to the effect of "if you steal this tome your eyes will fall out and you'll have to chase them". Always ridiculous and over the top and incredibly ominous. Most of them are in like recipe books and monastery histories too, which makes it funnier.
i really like latin curses, for some reason. they're simple but effective and you feel more ~powerful~ invoking it, or something. that's why every magic system in the world likes to use it, right?
also, oracle-type curses are good; an exchange for foresight/prophecy but like, you're a cannibal or you're blind or something that. maybe haunted sometimes, you know. you've gotta give something up to be able to tell the weather the next day.

UnaBombaH: I think Im happy you turned up to be the scum, and that you won, because I will use this game as a guideline for whenever I finally land my first scumrole.
I curse you to never know your true love,
To wake every morning with the faintest smell of her on face,
To walk across the city passing her without knowing.
To feel lonely beyond words when you sit down each day,
To see happiness and longing everywhere you see a happy smile,
To find nothing but misery within each waking hour,
To lie in your bed unable to find peace for your heart is empty,
To know fate pulls her further from you each and every day,
"I hope one day I can openly play as wolfy as Pooky and get zero pressure for it grumble grumble."
