A few things about me that aren't answering questions:

I'm Tim, I live in Essex, Vermont (yes, it's as boring as it sounds). I was born in Philadelphia, and therefore have an unhealthy affection for Philly sports teams. I go to college (university to most non-US countries) at Michigan State University. Kinda far away, but it's nice to be somewhere where things actually happen.
About 5 years ago I lived in Germany for 2 months. Let's see... nothing else right now that I can think of, but I hope for some good questions.

Wooot. Will the Flyers lose in four or win a couple games to get our hopes up?

Why the extra consonants?

Well, a few years ago, I was signing up for another forum somewhere, and didn't have sufficient creativity to think of good names, and I tried about 10-15 uncreative names that were all taken. I was kinda frustrated, due to the fact that I had been having a terrible day already, so I kinda randomly hit a few keys, and it came up to 'hasdgfas.' I attempted to pronounce it, and thought what I said sounded pretty cool, so I kept it and it stuck, especially after I realized all the keys were on the home row, and it was easily typeable.

They win game 4, then lose when they get back to Pittsburgh
shaft.ed wrote: Why the extra consonants?
if you mean in my username, see above. If you mean something else, I don't understand the question.

The wonderful mountainous landscape. It looks better in winter, which means I get to see it at its best for pretty much the whole year.

Wrong it was the cheese. Muuahahahaahaaha!

And the Flyers are definiitely losing in four.

Worst "recent" Philly sports loss: Eagles losing to the Patriots in the Superbowl '04, Flyers getting trounced by the Redwings in '97, Sixers destroyed by the Lakers in the championsips of '01, or Toronto clinching victory from the jaws of defeat against the Phillies in '93?

I wasn't there. I don't know where it came from. I logged onto MS one day to see a thread in GD about eggnogfas and a poll which included something about me as one of the options. Then I logged into scumchat and saw prozac talking about eggnogfas, but nobody would explain to me how it started.

Sarc, I'm not going to get into a theological discussion in GTKAS. He has His reasons, even if we don't understand them, which I don't always.

Do you prefer cows over ice cream, syrup and landscapes?

I didn't want to get into a theological discussion. I just wanted to know your answer to the question, which you've given.

I do have two more questions, however:

What is your favourite colour?

What is the capital of Assyria?

Most convincing of a god? The incredible odds against the world/universe turning out exactly right, like it did.
by most chilling I assume you mean most convincing against, and I'd have to say all the suffering that goes on in the world.

Why do you think the world/universe turned out "exactly right"? Do you not think the world could be better than it is? (Sorry, I don't mean to ask another religion question - your answer just intrigued me).

not a problem, I was a bit vague. I mean the fact that scientific things such as the gravitational constant, earth's distance away from the sun, and all those other things are such that if they were slightly off from what they are, life would not be able to function such as it is.

I do believe the world could be better, but I meant in a scientific sense.
