Hi, I'm MrBuddyLee. My name's actually Todd, I live in Phoenix, Arizona and I found Mafiascum about three years ago when I was bored at work.

That's Mr. Buddy Lee, one of my two cats, in my avatar pic. He was a scummy little 3 month old kitten at the time. Here's him helping me work on a project recently:

Do you prefer playing as town or scum? Why are you always scum?

Patrick, I much prefer playing as town, because I love the chase. Fooling people isn't nearly as fun unless you know them well. The best part about being scum in Face to Face was the fact that we all kind of knew each other from previous games and we knew which buttons to push to get the best reactions out of each other. If you don't know your sheep, it's a lot less fun shearing them.

And I'm not always scum! I just get vaporized early a lot as town.

Oh yeah, a shout out to Dr. Fritzler Frankenstein, who ressed me, the vig, in Pirates v. Ninjas and allowed me to go on a doctor-killing rampage. (I hit two in three days.)

What do you do for work?

Software consultant. I travel 50-75% of the time right now, and am on my couch at home with my cats when I'm not traveling. A job in software means staring at a computer all day, which means lots of three minute breaks to check mafia games. I was up to 15 games at one point, but I've cut way back so I can give games the attention they deserve /slash/ give Glork all the tormenting he deserves.

I want to turn my story writing into a career eventually, but my personal discipline is terrible. So I don't end up writing as often as I need to if I want to succeed.

Holland was spectacular. Beautiful cities, friendly people once you got to know them, fun quirky local customs, good food (none of it Dutch), and lots of leggy, fit women biking around everywhere.

Catan's fun. I play whatever people pull off the shelf--I'll take some time to think about my favorites.

I speak English, shitty Spanish, minimal Dutch.

My best game as town was possibly Speedy KQ's Big NY, one of my first games ever. Spotted all sorts of scumminess while being assailed by scum for being a scummy noob. Great, fun cast.

Worst game as town? We got worked in Simon Mafia. Lots of good thoughts but never put a decent case together that stuck to anyone.

Best game as scum? I really enjoyed Face to Face. I loved all the players, and it was a huge challenge to make it as far as we did. (endgame)

Worst game as scum? Hmm, DOOMSVILLE was an absolute riot/mess. I claimed 4 different roles between D2 and D4, finally got lynched for all the lies, but pointed town to the SK in the process.

I would love to play in the Battlestar Galactica game I'm working on. It's going to be fun, suspenseful and satisfying if there are enough BSG lovers and attentive players to fill the game.
