Okay, I know this went a bit haywire in the past, it seems, but let's try this thing one more time!
10 contestants have the opportunity to, between themselves, choose their winner. They will each round vote for who they want to win the game. When the verdict of this is unanimous, the player who got the unanimous vote wins.
If the vote is not unanimous, the contestants will vote to evict one of their number each round. The next round, the contestants will try again for a unanimous verdict.
Setup:
1. The contestants will vote
by PM
each round in Unanimous Voting Stage.
2. There will be a deadline for voting, and if the Unanimous vote is not received, players who have not voted will receive a strike, and their Unanimous vote will be randomised.
3. Players are free to discuss in thread during this time period, but any votes cast in thread will not be counted.
4. After the voting stage has ended, the results will be revealed, although the ballot is secret, so only the number of votes each player received will be shown, and not the voters and their identities.
5. The game will then move into
Eviction Voting
, where players will vote by PM
to evict one person. If a player doesn`t cast a vote, then they will self-vote and receive a strike.6. Discussion is permitted in thread, but any votes cast in thread won`t be counted unless they are PMed to me.
7. One contestant will be evicted each round until the final 2, when a jury of past contestants will vote to decide the winner.
8. If at any time a player receives 3 strikes, they will be eliminated. Strikes will be given for not voting, and for threatening or otherwise engaging in rude or aggressive behaviour towards others that threatens in any way their well-being. Remember this is a game.
9. Players are permitted to talk outside of the thread.
10. Evicted contestants may not post in thread after their elimination.
