Andycyca:
What is your favorite word?
Aranciata (the Italian word for "orangeade").
What is your least favorite word?
"Samwidge".
What turns you on?
In what way?
What turns you off?
In what way?
What sound do you love?
The sound of bacon
What sound do you hate?
Any sound made while I am reading.
What profession other than yours would you like to attempt?
Well, I don't have a profession, but I'll say "writer".
What profession would you not like to participate in?
I can think of a lot of professions. "Surgeon" is a good one.
What's your favorite curse word?
"Bugger", even though I don't think it'd generally be considered a curse word where I live.
If heaven exists what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?
"Welcome home, sir. I've kept your seat warm."
Adel:
do you watchInside the Actor's Studio?
No. I'm not sure I'd even heard of it until now.
who originally wrote the questions Andycyca listed?
I don't know.
how dated do you think they are?
I don't know.
which question would you rather be asked?
Of which questions?
who on this site will vouch for you being a nice person?
More than one person, hopefully.
are you a nice person?
Sometimes. I suppose it depends on your definition. And your standard of comparison.
why is being "nice" overrated?
I'm not sure it is overrated, mainly because I'm not sure how it's rated.
who is the nicest person on this site?
Ibby.
who is the least nice person on this site?
Quag, probably. Not that I hold it against him.
who would you ban from GD?
Hitler.
who would you unban from GD?
Me, if I were ever banned from it.
who would you ban from the entire site?
I'm once again going to go with Hitler on this one.
why?
Because he was a vegetarian, obviously.
Hasdgfas:
what's your best game as town so far?
Sadly, I think it might still be my first game as town: Kelly Chen's Too Much Scum, in which I actually didn't play amazingly well but ended up surviving until endgame and winning.
what's your worst game as town so far?
Oh, how many there are to choose from. It's too hard to pick just one.
what's your best game as scum so far?
Ah, this is more like it. I'm going to have to go with CES's Consulmaker Mafia, in which I lost as an underpowered SK, but in my opinion outplayed just about everyone.
what's your worst game as scum so far?
Probably Ibby's Short and Sweet Mafia.
If you were going to die, but had one more mafia game you could play and you could choose any theme you wanted, what would it be and why?
"Isn't it a good thing cryogenics actually work now" Mafia.
Curiouskarmadog:
what question do you not want to be asked?
"What is the derivative of f(x)=(6x^2-8)^4(-3x^2+6)^10?"
Glork:
If you were to have a rowdy New Year's Eve party with exactly five (current/active) Scummers of your choice, whom would you pick and why would you pick them?
Fritz and four Scummers of Fritz's choosing. If it's a rowdy party, I'm just going to end up sitting in the corner reading, so I'd pick Fritz to actually make the party entertaining. And I'd let him pick the other four because I'm not really sure who else would be entertaining. If there's anything more important than my ego around, I want it caught and shot now.- Andycyca

Andycyca:
Which OS do you use?
Windows XP.
Which browser?
Mozilla Firefox.
favorite videogame?
Oh, wow, that's tough. There are so many games I could pick, depending on the myriad ways of determining my favourite. I'm tempted to simply list all of them, but I'll force myself to just choose one:Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.
First videogame you ever played?
Good question; I really can't recall for sure. I'm pretty sure it would have been something on my cousins' SNES - probablySuper Mario WorldorSuper Mario Kart.
Pickemgenius:
1.How well will the AVS do in the playoffs with their new additions of PETER FORSBERG, AND ADAM FOOTE?
I strongly doubt that Forsberg and Foote will still be on the roster when the Avalanche next make the playoffs.
2. Who will win the Stanley Cup?
As much as I would like to believe it'll be the Canucks, if I had to bet on it, I'd pick the Sharks to win this year.If there's anything more important than my ego around, I want it caught and shot now.- Thestatusquo

In a hypothetical scenario in which you could kill people (either painfully or totally pain free) with absolutely zero consequences to yourself from outside forces (so no getting caught or people getting even), would you do it and if so, who would you kill?"Faust complained about having two souls in his breast, but I harbor a whole crowd of them and they quarrel. "What is the derivative of f(x)=(6x^2-8)^4(-3x^2+6)^10?"
It's (6x2-8)(240-120x^2) *(-240x*Log(6x2-8) + (240-120x2)*12x/(6x2-8))
Now why was that a scary question? I can think of a host of scarier mathematical questions.
What is your favourite book?
Author?
Epic?
How many female scientists can you name?
What is your favourite scientist?
Euler or Gauss?
A wizard has turned you into a whale. Is this awesome? [Y/N]
Do you read webcomics? Favourites? Use Google Reader?
Have a Papal Bull? (I'd settle for a male cow, if it was sufficiently papal.)
Is it offensive to describe a kippah as a "Jew cap"? (ie. I hadn't seen a jew cap in real life before.)
Take a cube. Inscribe circles onto 2 of its non-opposing sides. Extend these circles into cylindrical bodies. You will have 2 cylinders. Consider the body of overlap(ie. get rid of the parts which belong solely to one of the two cylinders). What is the surface area of this body in terms of the surface area of the cube?Scumchat is awesome. Yarr!

Thestatusquo:
Why the sharks over...Say...The redwings or the stars?
Because I feel they have, by an admittedly rather small margin, the best chance at coming out of the west. In short, I feel that they have the most complete team. In particular, in Nabokov they have better goaltending than any western team besides Vancouver (which is obviously hindered by its lack of offensive talent). The Sharks have had surprising difficulty scoring so far this season, but I feel that the addition of Campbell could help with that, and with the likes of Thornton and Marleau they clearly have plenty of potential in any case.
Kelly Chen:
Would you buy the CD?
No. The sound would lose all meaning without the inevitability of the smell and taste.
What are the odds that this will be the title of your autobiography?
29 to 2.
Nightson:
In a hypothetical scenario in which you could kill people (either painfully or totally pain free) with absolutely zero consequences to yourself from outside forces (so no getting caught or people getting even), would you do it and if so, who would you kill?
Yes, I believe I would use such an ability. Ideally, of course, it wouldn't be necessary, but I certainly have no objection to the elimination of certain people for the greater good. You have the obvious, of course - Osama bin Laden, Ayman al-Zawahiri, etc. I think an argument could certainly be made for taking out someone like Kim Jong-Il, too, but I don't know enough about the political situation in North Korea to be able to determine if this would actually have any beneficial effects. After that, it gets a bit hazier - sure, there are plenty of people who seem like they'd be better off dead, but it'd be a lot harder to decide. All sorts of religious fundamentalists, really, seem borderline. Hopefully I'd be able to do more research into making such decisions if I actually had such a power.
Cogito Ergo Sum:
Now why was that a scary question? I can think of a host of scarier mathematical questions.
Past the critical point of "I have no idea what any of this means", all mathematical questions become equally scary.
What is your favourite book?
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
Author?
Douglas Adams.
Epic?
The Rape of the Lock.
How many female scientists can you name?
A lot. Do you need a specific number?
What is your favourite scientist?
Charles Darwin.
Euler or Gauss?
Gauss.
A wizard has turned you into a whale. Is this awesome? [Y/N]
No. Whales are kind of boring, really.
Do you read webcomics? Favourites? Use Google Reader?
Yes, I read several. My favourites would probably beThe Last Days of Foxhound,The Order of the Stick,8-bit Theater, andxkcd, though I enjoy many many more. I don't use Google Reader.
Have a Papal Bull? (I'd settle for a male cow, if it was sufficiently papal.)
I have several. I never leave the Vatican without them.
Is it offensive to describe a kippah as a "Jew cap"? (ie. I hadn't seen a jew cap in real life before.)
It's not offensive to me, but then, I'm not a Jew.

Do you like philosophy?
As a concept, yes. I find that there is a hell of a lot of philosophy that's not worth the paper it's printed on, however.
On a scale of 1 to 10 how good you consider yourself at...
...drawing?
2. I can draw a decent stick figure.
...cooking?
3. I can make a decent number of things if given good instructions.
...RPG'ing?
Exactly what do you mean by this? I can think several potential meanings.
Anix:
Were you aware your health minister is "seriously considering" wearing a adult diaper?
I was not.
Lawrencelot:
If you could only answer yes or no to this question, would you answer no?
Perhaps. Fortunately, your hypothetical is not true.
Where is Monkey Island?
In the Caribbean, somewhere near the Tri-Island Area. I don't think it's on any maps, though.
Are there beuatiful women on that island? Other beautiful things?
There aren't usually any women at all. Carla was on it for a while, but she eventually escaped, and she wasn't especially beautiful anyway. As for other beautiful things... well, are you a monkey-fancier?
How much time do you spend on reading books a week? And on playing mafia?
It varies greatly. Sometimes I'll spend almost all my free time reading, whereas sometimes I won't read books at all. The same is true of mafia.
What video consoles do you have at home?
Besides my computer, obviously, I have a Wii and an Xbox 360 (I assume you mean video game consoles).
Who punched your avatar?
Nobody. That's a burn scar.
Skruffs:
Top five books please, and main parts of them that stood out the most to you.
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy,Good Omens,The Count of Monte Cristo,Leviathan,The God Delusion. To be honest, that's a pretty random list, because I find it difficult to rank books (especially books in series). It's practically impossible to compare something likeLeviathanto something likeGood Omensanyway.
