Anyone else besides me notice the irony of that almost selfnom being for "Mature" Mafia?

But seriously thou, Adel and the scum present in that game did play well so I will...

The scum team performed exceptionally. They didn't lose 1 person.

Adel was the highlight of the amazing scum performance in Mature Mafia. She truly led the way.

Armlx, logicticus and I were scum together, and we all survived.
With all due respect,
1) Seriously. Stop lobbying for noms.
2) Games with a large number of protown drivers tend to end in shambles for the town. Calvin & Hobbes Mafia is an excellent example of this.
3) I really wasn't a part of that game until it was entrely too late for me to survive (and even then, half the people on my wagon were scums anyway), and as you said, some of the other players on that list got replaced anyway.

That said, I'll third the group nomination. Though Logic was painfully obviosly scum (and I was right that Axel had a killing role >.<), most of the town was snowed throughout the game.

the sour grapes from that "mature games" are unreal. Glork, you were not a replacement in that game. I've never seen such an all-star list bitch so much. Unreal.

I never said that I was a replacement. I just re-iterated what you said, that some of the players on the list did get replaced. I don't think I was calling "sour grapes" either. Too many drivers on a team causes issues, because everybody's trying to take on the same role. This applies to just about everything. Finally, in case you didn't notice, I did support the group nomination, so I don't see why you're bitching. The scums did well.

EDIT: Oh, the "I wasn't really a part of the game until it was too late" bit refers to the fact that up until I dropped off MafiaScum completely, I was struggling to keep up with any of my games. I was just commenting that, from my perspective, "Glork" wasn't really on that list, because he didn't get involved in the game (due to inactivity -- not due to not being in the game), at which point Axel's and DGB's erroneous reads, along with a couple of scum bandwagon votes, were enough to punt me off the island.

Nom
for Best Performance in a Losing Cause/Cassandra Award to thegeckoj and Jshark for Newbie 649.

They managed to roleblock the doctor for two nights in a row, stopping what would have been two successful night protections. They managed to go through the day fairly unnoticed, with Jshark often being comment on as a very pro-town player. Their play only unraveled at Ly-Lo, when a very clever cop fuzzy chose to investigate the towniest player in hopes he'd have both scum cornered through elimination. It became a matter of the doc and cop convincing the lone confirmed townie, Charter, between them and the scum pair. The fact that the doc got roleblocked both nights in a row, with correct protection choices, was too improbable to Charter to be a lie, and scum lost.

I know it's a late nom, but I just discovered this thread.[/url]

I read that game, and I don't think it's worthy of a scummie. I don't think that game had very good play from anyone, in all honesty. Just an average game, and while they may have gone unnoticed, that's because they just didn't say much ever. That's not good play, that's lurking.

I just typed out a post nominating Farside for all the mod awards for her Family Guy game and got CPU Quota thing.

Someone please let me know if this is formatted wrong. Also, I'm not sure how to link a game. I know of at least two others who wanted Farside nominated for scummies for this game.
Nominate: Farside.
Awards: Best Role: Voteless Random JOAT.
Most Enjoyable Game: Family Guy Game.
Best Flavor Text: Family Guy Game.
I enjoyed the Family Guy quotes in every vote count and never would have guessed that there were hidden meanings. I liked how the reporters did the death scenes too.
Best Setup: Family Guy Game

I'll be around to check this thread for a few days.

Definantly second these, this was a great game to of played in. The mix of the roles, flavor and overall abundance of farside made this game one of my favorites by far.

Tarhalindur

Award: Best Role
"Lain Ikawura, the townie that doesn't exist" in Mind Screw Mafia II

Game: http://www.mafiascum.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9269

That was a really fun role to play. Essentially, my first post, I got modkilled. Except I wasn't really dead. I could post through the mod (with a PR), kill some people, vote other people, FoS other people. I mean, for all intents and purposes I was alive posting through the mod with a one shot dayvig. And this role felt really innovative in the way it was constructed.

It's been done.

See the Harry Potter role.

The role you posted looks to be a slightly expanded version of the above role.

Tar's mod notes explain it better than I did. It's similar but not exactly the same.

This was done in Guardian's iPick. Although it might not be the exact same role, they're close enough that I don't think the second one deserves it as I'd suspect Tar took it from Guardian.

You'd lose that bet - I'll admit that the role is similar to the modkill reviver, but that's because it's very hard to add a hidden player to a Mini game with the way the Mini queues are currently run. The primary sources of inspiration for that role were actually MTGS games (the Invisible Townie in Sin City and Trevor West in Blood Moon, to be specific).
