This was a swift game modded by XreyoX, and therefore we only had 60 days. Surprisingly, we did an excellent job and got the Godfather Day 1, the SK Day 2, and the other two Mafia Goons Day 3 and 4. To me, the game seemed somewhat challenging for town, I'm glad we pulled it through.

Best Performance by an Individual (Scum)

for his performance in Space Monkey Mafia 2: Pigs in Space!.

In this post he set up everyone on the MikeBurnFire wagon (Lawrencelot, ooba, Erg0, mikeburnfire, armlx, Rogueben) for a later lynch and basically confirming himself as town for the rest of the game. He was never investigated by the tracker, and he never made a kill (until the end game) so the watcher never had a chance of catching him.
armlx and Rogueben were killed by the directed-kill of the town, and all three of the Traitor Pigs survived the game.
If that wasn't enough, he also ran a full game bus of The Fonz (his scum buddy) that was just strong enough for everyone to conclude that they couldn't both be scum. Both of them survived the game.

tl:dr version: There was no way Kison could've lost in this game.

I've been thinking about this one and I'm afraid from my vantage point if I were to nom Kison for this it would be partially removing the blame for the town loss from my shoulders. Which begs the question does one deserve a Scummy when playing against a pathetic oponent? However, his move on that MBF lynch totally threw me. I don't know if anyone else fell for it as deeply as I. But I'll let the judges decide I guess.

your town happened to have cop+doc+masons+vig vs. godfather+RB+goon vs SK which is totally balanced in the town's favor.

I was reading the game on a whim out of boredom and I just kept falling over in my chair laughing at Stoofer's posts. Eventually I just decided screw the game, and read just Stoofer's posts in isolation. I have never had so much fun reading a game before. Here are some of the more brilliant posts:

Ha, that is indeed pretty sweet.

But I think it might be more appropriate to nominate it for a

Professor Mafia

Award; I would think the "Best Pro-Town Performance" would be somebody who was just nailing scum left and right, whereas "Professor Mafia" is taking a set-up in isolation and analyzing it, or commenting on strategies.

I've always kind of thought of the professor Mafia being sort of an award for discussion contributions to mafia, and the best performance for in game accomplishments. To me, then, fonzes effort looks better for best performance to me.

Especially since it's not any kind of contribution to relevant theory, as he's assured that setup will never be run again.

You guys do realize that this Texas Justice has already been broken, right? The Fonz's game-breaking strategy was just a variation on the original strategy that mathcam created in the first Texas Justice mafia. It's not really anything new to see someone break this setup. I'd support best performance, but I don't think Professor Mafia fits the bill, since he didn't contribute anything new.

I'd like to suggest a new category: Best IC.

To recognize the players that donate their time and MS energy to newbies and newbie games.

I think that it takes a lot of patience and skill to impart reliable and useful information to new players within an environment where paranoia and suspicion are endemic. The best ones also play the game well while they're doing it.
