Meanwhile players who joined in 2016 have heavy meta on each other (not just talking about this game, exclusively). It's frustrating because while I can appreciate the appeal and uses of metagaming, I find it trivial to try to apply it arbitrarily. The last few pages have been dancing around the idea of meta and it just doesn't float my boat as a player. It's making me detach.
Okay but how does this rant move the game forward at all or help anyone

it's an okay point of discussion that isn't too distracting, imo, postie
a good portion of the people talking about meta and it's use for analyzing don't even understand what matters where or anything really about it as far as I see most of the time
it matters as far as behavioral analysis, not reading habits and patterns of habits or whatever - a good portion of players aren't even self-aware enough about how they're playing to describe their own meta correctly or even actually have one

I don't have much of a meta, but I realized a HUGE tell in mine earlier
the thing is
you have to have played 10 games with me to even begin to possibly be able to see it

Yeah but zefiend's rant the kind of thing I can see scum walking in and saying because the content of those posts actually does nothing to move the game forward and is just pointless drivel, but there's ranty emotions behind it, and it therefore comes across to me as just being designed to show off the emotional aspect of the post to give the illusion that zefiend is invested in the game.

sure, not arguing against that at all, I can see that potentiality
but what it does for me is reiterate the point about kuroi and how his "this is what I'd do as scum" is meaningless - it's not about the "meta stuff" at that point, it's about "what you're doing is not really doing anything" (other than looking to me like he's TRYING to do something)
regardless, this is all good, because it's something!

Will just let Titus play til I get some idea back but the creepiness of this game makes it hard to get invested. That someone Town would read all of my meta and use pants is blah.

I don't think it's a good idea to make assumptions about what Lycan did and didn't do.

You didn't trust me because you thought I was Lycan's partner because of the way Lycan reacted to me.
Clearly, that was wrong. Therefore you don't trust me because you're being stubborn about your reads.
Sadly, that means you're most likely town. Which is good because I would have gotten paranoid of Titus by this point.

I don't see any other option and that is what freaks me out about this game. I am a bullheaded hated player. No one listens or follows what I do. It is why I can't get invested because every time I try I get creeped out when I reread.

I believe it's very likely that it was just a coincidence that he used the word pants. I really really trippy one but a coincidence nonetheless.
I think it's worth looking at who was trying to push it as such? Rereading this game is hard anyway. I keep trying to do it then ending up playing games on steam instead so idunno... :/
