Leon hasn't actually done anything since the start of D2 other than blend. And at the start of D2 he was avoiding joining the itlepip wagon, it's certainly plausible he knew he was town.

I was avoiding the itlepip wagon because I thought itlepip was lynchbait, I only started scumreading the slot due to BYF's play.
