Music seems a bit loud to me, and the clips feel a tad short. On the one hand, they jump right into it (good for the flashing of riven ult), but on the other hand they jump right into it (not so good for the orianna teamfight clip).

i think the clip is a good length. People's clips are often way too long. Short and sweet, particularly because it really highlights his good prediction skills and that doesn't take much setup. The music could be pulled back a bit though.

Agreed with Ray - give us a little more context for the ones where there's a lot going on (like the teamfights). I rewound once or twice just to make sure I knew which champ you were, even if it was pretty obvious based on the pwnage going on in each clip. Personal preference? Have a liiiiittle extra time on the end of each clip. I personally like seeing if there's any reaction to amazing plays in chat/allchat, like, for instance, in that Thresh lantern play.

Most of them I could tell, but the ori clip at 49 was really confusing.

All of the constructive criticism is noted ^^. I guess I have a problem where I oversync to the beat of the music and I'm almost afraid to 'skip' one by not having a big play on it. I generally try to do it too much and it's nice to know that it's not just me that's worrying about it. For the ori one particularly I wanted to have some sort of crosshair / circle, as seen in lot's of videos, to show who it was but after having this video sit on my laptop for half a year I said today enough is enough and that I would just finish it.

I'd be lying if I said that there are never times when I go for it and it doesn't work out, HOWEVER, I tend to do it on supports like Thresh / Blitzcrank (go for the predict that is.) so I get a lot more chances at it. The ones on midlaners like Ahri, Zed etc. are all one off things where I am fairly convinced they are going to. The two ahri clips were both from the same game and they were the only time I did it in that game for example.

I dunno, I guess I'm just good at reading people from maining thresh for so long that It's kind of transferred. After laning against someone mid for ~3 minutes I can usually tell what way they're going to juke etc.

When it comes to adding time between clips, I feel letting the video play longer if there's all chat hype for it and simply using the extra time before the play happening as the transition when there isn't all chat hype is a good balance. Even if it's just an extra one or two seconds, it helps us to visually reorient to [suddenly, in mid lane]

The plays were pretty sweet, though! And I've seen several of them before in videos. I think you plays.tv'd them?

All of the 'in-game' ones are from plays.tv uploads, I can't record my gameplay using a proper game recording software so I have to improvise with plays.tv

I was looking forward to reading that post when they posted it, then they only did like 7 graphs and i got disappointed.

i wonder if you guys have any ideas?

one thing i'm interested in doing is using the "provides for the team" section of lolguru's champion pages to examine how abstracted champion strengths like "Poke", "Disengage" or "Zone Control" are represented within solo queue and contribute to winrates both overall and within/against particular team compositions

shouldn't produce terribly surprising results in general but might uncover or highlight some dynamics of the metagame
maybe as a pilot i'll just relate the stuff with champion.gg statistics
but maybe i should think of more productive ways to use my time
