So question, what do you do against a good GP when your a melee champion?

And i'm talking about the kind of GP that understands that a single barrel behind him is a zoning tool.

Play a champion that can dash to him and duel him

He places his barrel, shoots the one behind him, the moment it explodes(while it's triggering the second barrel where you stand) dash out of blast range and towards him, slam into him(dodging his q and e completely then attack him until he's low), if he sticks around in lane at <=40% hp, just kill him

Champions that can do this shit - Riven, Irelia, Jax, Pantheon, Ekko, Fiora, Wukong(tho I think WK and GP go even in lane because GP has other advantages over him), Renekton, Maokai

That's how I've dealt with most GPs top in my elo, seems to work pretty well. I had a tough time against GP when I was playing volibear though.

Part of the effect is probably correlational -- seriousness is generally correlated with using a wired connection in addition to a wired connection directly causing a stability advantage.

Ryze seemed so OP to me. I was sure he'd need 100 nerfs.

The ult could be quicker, though. The other team has way too long to respond.

Because he does weird/unique stuff that is kinda unclear to anyone that doesn't frequently play him. And he doesn't necessarily have a role.

Yeah I totally agree. Ryzes place in teams seems to be magic damage, point click snare, and inherent tankiness. Ryze builds tanky as a dps mage which is super nice. But yeah his tp doesn't fit anywhere.

Ryze ult is something riot threw in because they ran out of ideas, he was too powerful to add more damage too, and they didn't have a clear idea of what would fit his identity.

So they threw him a team-based TK ultimate.

Ryze's animations are funnier now
