For example, right now we would have 2 teams of 6 people each and 1 SK. I have some ideas for giving the SK a little advantage for the fact that he's alone in a team game, but I'd like suggestions. Anyone?

If teams are uneven include an sk if not then it might not be needed. Could have a vote if one is needed in even teams scenario.

Typically I don't think the sk really needs an extra advantage, but if one is necessary you could give them the following

In the unlikly event the sk and everyone else dies in the same round SK wins. Also if everyone dies in a round, and the SK died in a previous round, you could resurrect the SK and all those that died in last round. So basically the SK has two rare options that gives them another life or a win.

The second life ain't too much of an advantage when you consider the fact that we now know who they are since they are back alive. But that also adds WIFOM cause since we know him, and he knows we know, who will get shot?

Those two skills would be the only ones I think I would consider otherwise you risk giving them too much power. One ability I would NOT give the SK is knowledge of who is on which team. We are suppose to be blind afterall.

In general the SK's first pm should be: "You are SK" and nothing more

Of course, the SK will only exist if the teams are uneven. Maybe the SK will have the opportunity to make an investigation each round or something. I just don't like the fact that someone with bad luck gets stuck in a 1-person team without evening him a little with the rest of the players, but who knows? Maybe it will be an SK and nothing more.

Should one more come to produce inequality/SK the earlier abilities I mentioned should work well.

Second life adds wifom, and all die win is another good advantage. The fact that we are blind to him should be manipulatable easily depending on how well the SK plays.

I'm not sure about resurrecting because many people stop watching the thread once they're dead, and it means prodding again, but then again, it could be a nice idea. Maybe I'll resurrect 2 or 3 players including the SK.

Yes, the SK is the "informed" minority here and the should be the base for the advantage.

Another option could be not to announce who shot who, this way the SK could shoot twice in a single round or something like that.

SK shoots player A and shoots himself with second shot.

What happens?

On side note I guess informing them who is on which team may be better. It adds the mafia element of informed minority. As long as others don't see that as giving SK too much power we 'could' do that.

If the SK wants to have a larger team than the others he needs to kill everyone else (as a regular mafia SK ¬¬') Maybe giving him info on the players and the Teams would be the best idea. Maybe I'll give him half of my info (that is, the namelist of half the players on team Sartre and half the players of team Camus)
