RPG: Squad of the Undefeatables: The Game

--- In 2094 the element of kyrum was discovered. An element with unique probabilities that allows it to morph into all known elements and release endless amounts of energy...

In 2102 a great war has begun for the control of the kyrum technology, Illegal and dangerous research for the control of the forbidden element: the kyrum. It also started to move into the extend of human experiments...

Three years later the war has ended... After a furious endless war only 10% of the population survived. People started getting divided into settlements known as "strongholds". most of the strongholds were following an alliance. Three alliances held the most power in the world. The Gyren Alliance, The Diracs and the United Earth Heros.

Today is the 3rd of Jan 2107. It has been one month since the news of an infestation caused my kyrum started spreading. Investigations were happening to find the true people responsible for the outbreak... You are 10 soldiers that decided to begin your journey in the battlefield the the Gyren Alliance. With all of them in an armored truck moving into the place for the military application test.---

Notes:
-Activity is really important and its needed to post at least once in every phase. recommended activity time is at least once every 24 hours
-You might get something different from what you describe but I will stay as true to it (if I can). the more "acceptable" your submission is that more you will understand your strengths when the time comes.
-Reading the flavor IS somewhat required. (since if you didn't I doubt you will get what the hell is going on.)
-The story will contain some medieval elements including magic and swords in some form. But the main theme will still be modern combat.I cant eleborate more than that.
-After game is done I will try to group the story and perfect it into a book/novel. We will see how it goes.

How much can you say about the mechanics of the game, like is it mostly an RPG or are there large social aspects?

Do characters need to be original?

perferly original. It will have both RPG and social aspects as you will interact with both the other players and the NPCs. but its mostly focused on roleplaying and interacting.
