Day Two

As people walk around in the morning they find some items lying around the town square.

Items on the ground:
  1. Survivor DVD
    Age of Empires
    Pig
    Marble
    Caviler
    Ytmnd.com
    Magnolia
    Sam’s Cola
    Cement
    Strawberry Shortcake
    Oven
After looking around they find the body of Mastermind of Sin, the explorer possessed by the ghost of Katy. You notice that Sears has been destroyed. The town checks for any items on Mastermind of Sin and found a Microwave, an Unreal Tournament Disc, and a Seinfeld DVD, they put it all in the pile of items on the courthouse lawn.

Night 2

Everyone enters the courthouse to discuss what they should do about the death of Mastermind of Sin. When they enter they see only the old Newspapers of yesterday. As you look around you see some scrap paper that looks to be articles that was supposed to be in the paper but some reason it was left here.

?????
  • Mafia has More Possessions than Most

A recent study (source unknown) has shown that mafia members tend to accumulate more possessions than the average Freaktown citizen. Results of the study only show numerical data, and it is unknown what the effect will be on the townsfolk.
?????
  • Two town dead after Day One

Short Backstory: Soon after the deaths of Scotmany and Kilroy, the CSI team was sent in to do their investigation. After a search of Scotmany's house and belongings, it was soon clear that he was not part of any mafia. The same outcome came from the search of Kilroy's house. Whether or not these two men had any other connections within the town is still unclear.

With 23 alive it will take 12 votes to convict someone.

Mod Note:
Issue #1: Replacements
if you havnt been watching the signup thread then, Farielord replaces Carrotcake, Sikario replaces Blight, holy replaces max, and i am in need of another replacement.

Issue #2: Deadline
There is a tentative deadline of 23 days (dec 14th, 3:30 est). i will see how it works today. if it works well then i will continue that trend of #ofpeople=#ofdays until it gets to 14 people. then i will keep the deadline at 2 weeks. i also understand if there is holiday issues. i might be a little more lax on enforcing the deadline if there is quality discussion.

Issue #3: Newspapers
I forgot to give you the little section of the newspaper articles yesterday. so i put them in the item list and i put them in the night one recap.

this game confuses me. I'd like a claim out of the player who snatched the frigging Survivor DVD, yet again. :x

The papers aren't labled today, so I don't know which one is supposed to be true. However, if the quote above is correct, it would leave me believe that either Battlemage or Master of Sin would be mafia based on their hoarding items yesterday. However, Master of Sin is now dead, so that wipes him off of my list :-P.

this is what i was getting at. Hence i'd like to know who took the Survivor DVD, in the knowledge that i needed it, and with the supporting evidence of scum hoarders.

With only 2 papers, both unlabeled, how can you be sure that isn't the tabloid or Mafia paper?

What you were 'getting at'? All you said was you were confused, and you wanted a claim because you were upset you didn't get your item. Sounds to me like you're trying to now back up your earlier selfish comment with 'supporting evidence', and honestly, there is none. We don't know which headline is true, but with my educated (as in I work at a newspaper in real life), I'm going to guess headline 2 sounds more real than headline 1, especially based on yesterday's headline that mafia ate more. However, as was pointed out earlier, it could easily be a mafia headline, so I don't think we should take either of them too seriously.

DON'T MAKE ME PROD YOU OFTEN!
I am really enjoying this game so please don't kill the game by making me get even more replacements than i already have to get.
I was requested to PM people when the day began but i am not your parents, so i guess if people haven't checked in by Sunday i will give people their notice, but probably most of the items will be gone.
last note: this is a very complicated game so after the end of a cycle (night1/day1, night2/day2) i remove all PMs and messages. that are sent between us. yes i have a hard copy of your roles and the current list of what you have and if you did any major actions (ie spam/kill/message). but anything else is you job to keep up with in a game this size. so my hard copy is god if you don't have PMs to back up your story.

I realize that the article is not substantial evidence. However, battlemage was also at the top of my list of scum day 1, so my vote still stands on him. Looking back, tautology was also at the top of my list. I'm going to try to do a read through over the weekend because its been a long time since day 1 ended and I don't really remember everything.

LOL, I was tempted to snatch it when I saw the Survivor DVD still laying on the ground, but knowing a several players need them, I leave it. I didn't need it, and I want the game to be more exciting >.>

Based from my 12 hours quick read of 43 pages (weeks ago), I didn't remember much, but from my notes, my top 3 suspects was: FLoC, Jex/ABR, tautology. But because it was coming from a scan read... errr, it needs a 2nd thought, later (quite lazy now) <.<

For now, Hi all!~
