Suddenly, someone died! Oh no, it seems like some evil has gone onto a plane too, and now you can't get off until all the anti-town forces are gone. Go mob mentality!

Rules stolen from theopor_COD

1.) This game is a day start. The game will start when everyone has confirmed via PM.
2.) During the day you can vote for a player that you think should be lynched. Votes must be bolded otherwise they won't be counted. It would be helpful if players unvote when switching their votes. I'm not fussy on how you vote with abbreviations and the like as long the word vote and the player of your choice is bolded that's fine.
3.) When a player reaches a majority of votes, they are lynched. I will reveal their role, and the game will move into night. Players can still talk during twilight.
4.) I will impose a deadline whenever I feel discussion is dying. They are not negotiable.
5.) No talking to other players, dead or alive, outside of the thread, unless your role permits it.
6.) Once dead, you stop posting. A bah post is fine though.
7.) If you have any questions, feel free to PM me. I'm very nice really.
8.) Try to stay active. This game is a commitment. I will prod people on request.
9.) I'll try to post votecounts as often as possible. Feel free to ask for a votecount at any time.
10.) Avoid excessive profanity, flaming etc. I'm not averse to swearing but others may be so treat them with respect.
11.) Do not quote or fakequote your role PM. This is a modkillable offence.
12.) No small or invisible text. Don’t edit/delete previously submitted posts either.
13.) Have fun!

IMO isn't it a bit weird to insist lynching someone that we have no reading on, hasn't talked and will appear eventually? Eliminating a townie is never necessarily a good thing, even if they are useless. I think we should get some solid proof that someone is scum before voting for them (unless it's a random vote of course)

b)lynching townies is a bad thing. unless your mafia. figured that one was kinda obvious.
c) lynching people before they can incriminate themselves is a bad thing
d) however, incriminating yourself like I feel you just did is rather amusing.

unless you expect to catch scum on the very first lynch, chances are we are going to get a townie. might as well make the best of it by lynching the ones that are not contributing.

or maybe you are just ignoring all logic to save your scumbuddies?

however, i do agree that its been a little too soon for that kind of thinking. we should be eliminating the lurkers only after at least a day or two.

oh well, was just trying to get the game moving. my vote stands though

Of course we expect to hang scum! There is a chance that we would lynch a power role too, as we don't know the set-up.

Lucienne, is in very little danger as of now. He has no posts, and its too early to call him a lurker. His fellow scum would not get rattled (if he is indeed scum). Spurg, and Aly are the ones taking the time to be logical here. You are being too pushy.

Not really, I feel I was justifed in putting him at L-5 for reasons I explained.

I agree with everything in this post. To suggest lynching someone because theyre lurking is ridiculous all on its own. Why in the world would you want to have them lynched when they could just as easily be replaced, dealing with the lurking problem without lynching a player with a completely unknown alignement? Further, you can hardly classify what Lucien and Karen are doing as lurking. The thread hasnt even been open a day. Geez. That being said, I'm quite happy to put a little pressure on you.

Ok my response to paragraph 1 is (1), My response to paragraph 2 is (2) e.t.c

(1) Yes we do, if you want the town to win that is. We should lynch only someone if we've got solid proof and good reason to think there scum. We can't take to many chances or all hope is lost for the town to win.

(2) Of course we don't expect to catch scum on the first lynch. The chances are against us. But maybe we should at least TRY to uncover the scum instead of just completely jumping to conclusions and going lurker hunting without any reasoning. That just ruins our chances of winning. I said it once and i'll say it again. Lynching a townie is NEVER a good thing.

(3) Maybe your the scum tyring to start a bandwagon on supposed 'lurkers' to draw attention from yourself?
