I think you have a good chance of getting through to the next round without hitting either, and if you do, the next offer will be huge.

SSF your banker sucks and isn't using anything close to the formula =/

You're not supposed to offer anything even close to the EV until there are about 5 cases left. It makes for bad TV if someone quits early and also means more contestants which means more money given away.

While hitting the 300k isnt as bad as the others, it will certainly bring down the offer and cause me to want to go further giving me more odds of hitting something bad.

Yes, but think of what the offer will be if you keep the Top 2, even if you hit the $300,000, the offer will still be very good.
