Blessers was happy to die. Well he would have if not for the fact that his death could not hope to win. The crosses and the noughts those were all irelevant now. Now was the question of Mafia and town. His death meant the certain failure of his team, and the certain victory for his enemies. Scripten placed his vote on Belisarius, the heavy burden giving him no place to go. Both voter and vote were unmovable waiting for the judgement of T-Bone, both think they were aware at what was at stake. RedCoyote that red man in that red place laughed. T-Bone did not. T-Bone was serious. T-Bone was stern. T-Bone would not risk, what'd he'd earn. T-Bone picked. He picked Belisarius. He picked town. He was not surprised.
Belisarius was lynched. He was a Vanilla Townie.
Scripted was endgamed. He was a Vanilla Townie.

No dead thread I'm afraid.
I'm pretty sure with this rediscovery of this set up that it is balanced. Not having been on the other side, I still can't speak for more important issues.
Congratulation scum team. although, RC PMed me saying you were going to win it, I must confess I was rather surprised.Plus, if you guys want to make a point, skip the walls, because everyone else in the game does as well. - Magister Ludi-

Fuckballs. I guess it's true, never underestimate a town's ability to tear itself apart.
I actually had more fun playing when I thought Scripten was scum, though. I wasso surethat crossvote request couldn't be coming from town, and thought Scripten had been playing me all game the way I played LynxKuroneko in Profia.
Agreed that the setup is balanced just fine.-

I had faith in my boy T-Bone. It waived a bit at times, but I loved how aggressive he was. I was laughing when Equinox spun this whole thing about how me and T-Bone had this all planned out... I wish I could take credit for the scheming, but it was T-Bone that took the initiative. Frankly, I'd have been happy even if T-Bone had lost it at the end because I think he really played well thoughout. I would've liked to have been given more time to work the angle I was originally going for (before T-Bone's hammer) just out of vanity, but I'm definitely not complaining when we got the win.
I probably wouldn't play this setup again just because I think the TTT aspect ties the hands of both alignments more than I had considered prior to signing up. I enjoyed playing with everyone, however. I'm going to have to watch out for Pine in the future though! It maybe a one-off thing but he saw through me right away. Thanks for modding, Empking. gg all!-

Good game scum. I'd definitely play this setup again possibly from the start as I love Tic Tac Toe and all the strategies that you can use to win. I was surprised when RedCoyote went for the innocent child in a very obviously scum move and really had no idea who I'd pick at endgame. I don't believe the "crossvote so I can figure out which of you is scum" is scummy because it's what I'd have done as town and I've seen town do it in the past. The town motivation is that to win as town in LYLO, there are two separate steps you need to win "mini-battles" if you will. The first to identify the scum. The second is to convince the other townie that you are town. When both parts fall into place you win. What Scripten was doing was trying to win that second battle - convincing the town that he is town. And when the crossvote happens, he's left with just the first part which is finding the scum.-

I think it is an interesting idea, but so much of the future of the game is determined early in the game with the forced lynches. Also, I think for scum, opposite corners is about the best setup you can get as unless you are certain they are scum, you can't lynch them until LyLo, or you loss the TTT game, or at least turn over the direction to the scum.-

Darn. Ah well, that's just how things go sometimes. I was thinking it was T-Bone for most of the game until later into D3, where he was starting to act very town indeed.
Oh! Beli, one of the things that made me think you were scum on my reread before LyLo was when you mentioned that T-Bone was looking mighty town-like and followed with a sort of downtrodden post that looked like you were trying to copy his AtE. (222) also bothered me when we hit LyLo and Equinox was dead. That was my own fault.
Sorry for the hastily conceived reaction test. I thought you were trying to test if you could buddy me in LyLo, so I tried to turn that against you. I should have remembered my adage about town being most likely to tunnel one another.-

I had a strategy, but then you guys blew it up in a way I couldn't believe. I came home from work to a vote count with cross votes and I had to read it about 10 times.-

That's always a good feeling. My only game as scum on here I replaced in during the night, we roleblocked the cop and his first post of the day is him claiming a guilty on the other town during LyLo. I had a strategy ready, but it was just handed to me.-

Heh; had I been scum, it wouldn't have worked. The crossvote request wouldn't have set any alarm bells off because I'd have known your alignment.
It might have worked as intended if I hadn't recently finished this game in which I, as scum, had kept a townie in my back pocket all game long the way I thought you had done to me.-

To be fair, I reacted in a similar manner as scum in 3p LyLo when another player acted like he was confirmed town, and I turned it around on him (though we lynched the other guy), so it was a valid concern, sure.-

Not to mention that taking opposite corners is an optimal move in TTT"Cry havoc, and let slip the wombat of war!"
