Consider this my official announcement of my post-MISTN project:
The Hunt, A WiTP RPG
. Based off of my old Walk in the Park games, but with an RPG-inspired twist. Looking for potential co-writers/designers (any artists willing to donate large amounts of their time to drawing as well), PM me if interested.

I'm going to bring Countdown up soon, I'm thinking of making it free for all (everyone submits each time), or is keeping it player v player better?

Just wondering:

I might be interesting in modding a wrestling-based RPG kind of game, where players would have to create a wrestler. Then, they arrive at a federation, and based on their choices, abilities and gameplay, get to participate in wrestling matches to try and win titles.

Anyone interested in playing this?

Is anyone interested in trying out a game of

if I run it? Probably start off with the beginner's set-up, and if that goes well, I can run more games after that.
Here's an example of it being played, and here's the rules pdf.

Okay, so I've bought the game and just finished going through it for myself. I'll have a sign-up thread started within the next 24 hours.

Preview #1 - Classes!

Information is spoilered for length. The following is a brief overview of the 15 character classes present within the game, including their uses and a brief overview of their abilities/playstyle within the game's battles.

Spoiler: Class Info
Cleric
- Specializes in healing magics. Fights using staves. Upgrades to
Devout
, capable of channeling large amounts of soul energy to both damage opponents and support allies.
Elementalist
- Specializes in elementally-aspected offensive magic. Fights using foci. Upgrades to
Magus
, capable of releasing extremely powerful blasts at opponents under the right conditions.
Pugilist
- Bare-handed fighting class. Fights bare-handed, or with fist weapons. Upgrades to
Black Belt
, capable of using meditative technique to increase damage.
Archer
- Long-range bow and arrow class. Fights with bow and arrows (duh). Upgrades to
Ranger
, capable of summoning nature's creatures to attack.
Gunner
- Standard pistol class. Fights with guns (also duh). Upgrades to
Cannoneer
, capable of using explosives and firing missiles.
Dancer
- Specializes in supporting allies and buffing their abilities. Fights with instruments. Upgrades to
Bard
, capable of winning American Idol.
Illusionist
- Specializes in creating barriers and distorting the battlefield. Fights with mirrors. Upgrades to
Time Mage
, capable of manipulating time.
Fencer
- High-speed swordsman. Fights with 1-handed swords. Upgrades to
Rune Fencer
, capable of imbuing their attacks with powerful magics.
Rogue
- Stealthy damage-dealer. Fights with knives. Upgrades to
Assassin
, capable of dealing high damage to weakened targets.
Knight
- Durable warrior. Fights with greatswords. Upgrades to
Paladin
, allowing them to cast magics to protect themselves and allies.
Necromancer
- Wielder of dark magic. Fights with ritual daggers. Upgrades to
Summoner
, allowing them to create new puppets as opposed to just raising them from the dead, thus allowing them to have friends for the first time.
Lancer
- Fights by poking things with sticks. Fights with long, pokey sticks (aka spears). Upgrades to
Valkyrie
, increasing the length of their pokey sticks for a low, low price and also causing them to be followed around by the ghost of Richard Wagner.
Shieldbearer
- Defensive class and defender of the weak and squishy. Fights using shields, unfortunately not by using bears like in the original plan (reworked into Ranger). Upgrades to
Templar
, capable of dispelling enemy magics.
Warrior
- DUH I SWING GIANT MANCLEAVE. FIGHTS USING GIANT MANCLEAVE (AXE). Upgrades to
Viking
, which allows their attacks to hit even harder at the cost of being renamed Lars, Sven, or Erik, but also allowing them to properly celebrate Leif Erikson Day properly.
Scholar
- Nerd capable of tactically manipulating the battlefield and correcting grammar. Fights using a book. Upgrades to
Oracle
, capable of seeing the future but not if you steal his glasses. Nerd.
