No, because the wolf team is made up of:

Wolf 1-shot watcher
Wolf (assuming 1-shot) BP
Wolf Goon Neighbor

Mafia is made up of:

Mafia Even-Night Roleblocker
Mafia Odd-Night Rolecop

It doesn't make sense for mafia to have a BP as the 3rd role. Mafia would have significantly more power than wolves.

Also, I've been on every single one of the wagons that lynched Mafia/Werewolf. Every single one of them.

I don't necessarily think I've been derping around toDay. my reads have been rather strong as of late, and I have no reason to back down. I'd be dumb to not consider other possibilities as just that, possibilities.

Does it make sense for town to have a BP though?
I've been saying since yesterday that I have doubts as to the existence of your BP status.

From the looks of this, this setup does indeed look symmetrical. There should be a mafia goon neighbor, and it most likely is in Neighborhood #2.

Yes, it does make sense. There is a JailKeeper and a 2 shot vig in this game. Not to mention, there is a JOAT who has a bodyguard and a commuter. It makes perfect sense.

I do tend to agree that there is a Mafia in the neighborhoods - I've been saying that for some time also.
Besies your role PM, what theory do you have that the Mafia neighbor needs to be in the same neighborhood as the Wolf one?

Why?
You are literally listing 2 town protective roles, why should there be a third and why does it make perfect sense?

I haven't ruled out T S O entirely. As much as I want to, I believe he may be playing a very strong scum game this time around. Although, we were able to check the set up spec a few days ago, and talked about it being symmetrical. It sure seems like it is. One of them
have
to be the mafia. I'm still betting it's Nero. I'm going to have to go back and analyze his votes.

It's multiball, so causing confusion with the NK's is key, especially fitting the Masquerade theme. My BP is a perfect counter to your jailkeeper, especially if your Role PM did specifically say that it can only stop 1-shot. Neighborhood #3, and Neighborhood #1 are similar. I'm seeing them both as all town. Also, if we combined them into one Neighborhood, it would make an even 4 Town Neighbors, and 4 PR's. This coincides with the 2 PR, 2 VT outside of the neighborhood. There are 2 scum in neighborhood #2. Everything has been symmetrical.

Well, your first post was at 3 am, and your second at 7:30 or so - I do this thing called bed usually.

In post 7037, Pine wrote:Ehh, there's an outside chance that Boon is completely bullshitting the BP claim, and no kill happened because he shot at me. I rather think he's town tho

Do you think he's town by play or by claim? If it's the former I completely fail to see it - if it's the latter I'm getting more and more doubtful of the claim itself being true at all.

Also - good game, Pine. You were playing well until your defense of Slandaar - that was what swung it irrevocably for me.

Town by claim, mostly. Setup-spec wise, Town is rather weak on defensive roles. 1-shot commute, 1-shot doc, Jailkeeper is rather light considering multiball. Bulletproof makes sense to me.

As for defending Slandaar, I
wasn't
. That's what was so frustrating. There was a decent case for him to be Maf, and it was a safe position for me to take. In theory, it should have let me write him off and never talk about him, and then gave me a good excuse to push hard against lynching him. It was defense without defense, you see? If I'd been Town and thought Slandaar was Maf, I'd probably have been even more vigorous in opposing his lynch, as lynching Maf D5 was a game win for Wolves. It still baffles me that y'all weren't seeing that.

In fact, come to think of it, your absolute refusal to wrap your head around my insistence that he was Mafia suggests to me that the Maf is you

@Slandaar - sorry for insulting your play by confusing you two there

Because 1-shot commute/1-shot doc is weak as fuck, and so is Town BP (it's better for scum). Together they make a halfway decent protective role. Not to mention that Jailkeeper can't really claim the mantle of protector, because it's primary utility (and the way it is usually used) is Roleblock

Also, 4 Town/4 Scum outside of the neighborhoods, 2 scum/2 town in neighborhood #2. The 4's and 2's keep coming together.

The roleblock carries protection as part of it - a jailkeeper starts defensive and moves investigative as the game proceeds.

Who were the Wolf kills?

Add Muffin as VT outside of a neighbor hood, forgot about the modkill. 5 Town outisde of neighborhoods, 5 in one neighborhood, 2 in N2, 3 in N3, which makes yet another 5. It's a symmetrical setup. I like it. It's pretty. Thor and I are confirmed Town.

We're hung up on it because you presented it as evidence to support/prove you as town, and if it is evidence in your mind then there's a serious question as to how it applies to you and not Nero - especially when Nero has done it and TSO hasn't and you're needing to choose between TSO/Nero as regards your setup based reasoning for calling Nero scum.

@TSO - I think I may have been on every single lynch wagon in this game, quite frankly. I would even go so far as to claim being a leading force on all of them in addition, town, mafia, and wolf. 2 of each, I'm very open minded.
