Is the PoE based on gut or something else - you repeating your conclusions aids me not at all in understanding why Sland/Pine is a pair in your opinion.

Slandaar could be wrong, tbh. My gut is mafia on Nero, and that's what's controlling the you/Slandaar. Pine's wolf. Like, vote count, play style, everything.

If you look back on both mafia lynches, Pine was on both of their wagons. He joined on the Reinoe wagon right in the middle. He hammered flubber. Scripten had put his vote on Pine, but Scripten was the only one there, which I feel he was just voting his buddy for later vote count analyses.

why the hell should the actual mafia claim? it will pretty much lose them the game regardless. Pine had no reason at all to claim there.

It appears to make a lot of sense to me.
A Mafia claim, at this stage, is an Innocent Child claim as far as I'm concerned. Mafia can always counter it if they don't like that.
