well.. i think it works this way: mod random rolled for king/kingmaker, for first day.
king looks at others people's votes and still executes the majority vote (unless their an ass or scum, or whatever)
during the night phase, they pick someone else to be king. and they also put a back up king, in case their first choice is killed.
so king and kingmaker... are the same thing.

I take back what I said about Nikanor trying to employ VI-style play. Looks more like he's trying to lead town with bemused superiority. Which is great and all except that it relies entirely on the skills of one player. Town's a team, so trying to play lone ranger isn't going to cut it. That is, assuming he's town, which I, for one, am certainly not about to do.

well ok. this is a little silly scripten, no? how can there not be official voting, yet voting at the same time. any votes won't be count anyway. it's just that the votes are there... unofficially as a way to keep track of everyone's voting preferences/stances
