Basically if you've played a lot with or really gotten to know another player, it becomes possible to pick them out of the crowd of strangers in a game by how they talk, play, etc. Some players look for these tells and use that information to influence how they treat a player they think they've identified. It's not always intentional, but it's always against the spirit of an anonymous game. Having a lot of new players really helps to muddy the waters when it comes to getting a read. Cuts down on the meta bs, I'm hoping.-

No, but I think it's a cool idea and would be so down for mentoring someone. In post 118, Framm 18 wrote:Out of curiosity has there ever been a Hydra Survivor/BB on here or would there even be enough players for a game of that sort?

Tragically, some of us are just too distinctive for this to ever stop (DV, for instance- even people who stink at IDs tend to get him ). But more newbies certainly means less of it."I would prefer not to." --Herman Melville,Bartleby the Scrivener-

I've allied with DV in 100% of the games I've played, yet I'm unable to ID him. That was even an issue this game when we were both spectating. Though for some reason the only people I've ever been able to ID with confidence were TS and Blastoide, neither of which appear to be playing anymore, so I don't really bother trying anymore.Never be sorry for your little time.
It's not when you get there, it's always the climb.-

I identified about 4 people in the first anon game I played in, so I'm just getting progressively worse."CC is very [whatever the equivalent of photogenic as it applies to videos]" - racefan12

We were totally the best of friends! That's how it works right, you have a all encompassing need to vote the other player out?

What we really need is more Australian newbies! Someone once told me after a game that once they figured out I was Australian and not Drench, my identity was obvious.

I don't think we've really played together since Mass Effect though, and even xofelf got me wrong there.

Glad to know I don't exist~
(Granted I haven't been in the last three games, but I do play every now and then!)Fickle, cold and harsh or caring and warm
Strongly opinionated or barely invested, but a constant

Apparently he's counting Med Evacs as well since TECHNICALLY the mod kills you, not the players.Xalxe: this is xofelf sometimes we call each other names and other times we share emotions
