Seeing as I'm rather impatient, I'll start it now instead of waiting until CoolBot's progresses. Here are the rules and the theme of this game is magic. Heroes are renamed Sorcerors, Powers are renamed Spells, and Sidekicks are renamed Apprentices.
Also, for this game, I'll be adding something that has not been utilized before on Mafiascum. After the auction, the results will not be revealed, so you will not know who knows what spells until they cast them. Similarly, you will not know which player an Apprentice takes orders from. In addition, there will be no communication outside of the thread.
Bookworms
[col]This spell can be cast once, at the beginning of the game (before Round 1), or at any time during the game. The caster may remove any one other spell from the game, permanently.
Curse
[col] The lowest bid wins this spell. You can only use one activated spell per turn. You can only attack one person per turn. All normal attacks you make deal 10 less damage than normal.
Double Vision
[col]
Burn 5.
All of your opponent's attacks have a 50% chance of missing.
Firestorm
[col]At the end of each round before you first use Firestorm you gain 3 firestorm counters.
Burn 2
and remove a Firestorm counter to deal X unblockable damage to a target. X is the number of Firestorm counters you had at the beginning of the round.
Forgetfulness
[col]Whomever bids the least for this spell forgets how to cast any spells at the end of round 4. If multiple Sorcerors tie for the lowest bid, they all suffer Forgetfulness.
Golem
[col]
Burn X + 10.
Gain a sidekick with X Energy and one random power chosen from those in the game.
Harmonic Casting
[col]If you spend the same amount on attack and defense, add 20 to each.
Karmic Defense Enchantment
[col]When attacked, reduce attacker's attack strength by their defense value.
Levitation
[col]Any attack dealing in end result 10 damage or less to you is prevented, as you shunt it away. And any dice that would be rolled, you can change the results with your mind -- to whatever result you want.
Mutable Armor
[col]When you take damage you may flip a coin. If heads, prevent that damage and gain Energy equal to it. If tails, take the damage normally and you may not Attack or cast Spells next round.
Necromancer
[col]When you die, come back as a Sorcerer with Energy equal to half your starting Energy. This spell can only be used once per game.
Necromancy

Everyone sends in two powers. As for Overmind, I would really prefer not to have something like it, but the rules do state you can pick anything for your powers.

One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.
Well, I was actually going to pass on this because (no disrespect to WizardCat) I don't know him as a Mod. But since there is such a demand for me from other players, I'll give it a go!

"I can't even look at the game anymore.
That evil teddy bear has got everyone twirling by his thumb.
It's like witnessing an slow but unavoidable train crash you can't stop."
yeah but no out of thread communication, so any strategy we present people could come up with a counter strategy without telling us, which would lead to... dare I say it.
