I think I am getting a clearer picture fo the game now. I have re-read from the beginning and notice in the very first vote the theft of explosives and the threatening note from the mafia are listed as two separate events.

So, if we do only have one maffia left the whole conspiracy thing goes out the window. Add to this the fact that we know Carmine is clean. It all means we now know there are vanilla type council members on the townie side.

I hope all who wanted to go after me for what must have appeared crazy logic understand that my beginning with the assumption that all townies had roles meant my posts were logical and fair - except for the one glaring error that my opening assuption was wrong

The request for role titles was only in the light of that assumption. If you followed my logic I was trying to expose what I had suspected was a scummy lie. Now I no longer think it is a lie, I will no longer apply any presssure for such a role claim.

I just don't know what to make of that post. It could be just a mafia member realizing that his plans for getting some innocent claims out were failed and tried to get un-suspicious. Or it could just be an honest post. I'm at a loss.

Just_Nigel...I think that you are getting very defensive to what everyone is saying. Just try to relax some and if they jump you for it, then just take a deep breath and try to explain yourself....If that isn't good enough then apparently you are not going to change their minds.

This is my first mini normal game as well, and I think that there actually is 1 mafia left and possibly a serial killer, cause we only killed two scum...right?

Don't feel like going back into the thread to try and figure this out, but I am pretty sure that is how it went.

I am not quite sure yet who I suspect to be sucm, but I do think that we are safe with carmine, otherwise I have made a big mistake.

Gah, sorry for the lack of posting - my boyfriend persuaded our router to eat itself (almost literally) so I have had no connection all weekend.

I've been re-reading the thread, and it seems to me that Morpheus has been flying beneath the radar somewhat - posting enough to be seen, but contributing less than usual. Also, something about the rapid hop onto Talitha's just_nigel vote felt off to me. To that end

Well, I investigated Carmine last night, and there wasn't any action what so ever going in or out of the house....

Don't know if that means that she is innocent or not,

Sorry for the confusion, but I just thought that maybe if there were two mafia left, which I am not sure if there is or not, could it just be possible that only one of the mafia went out for the kill instead of Carmine. Like Talitha said earlier when I had claimed that Quailman was the sk and ended up to be mafia. She pointed out that Quailman could be mafia because they may have only sent out one person for the kill. I highly doubt that Carmine is mafia...I guess that it was just a thought from back when talitha mentioned how the mafia will send one person out to do a kill. I don't know....

I had been waiting for Macros' defence before voting for him, but now that he says:
1) he has been missing from all games, and
2) he is quitting
I am less inclided to vote for him.

If this is the case, it does smell fishy. Since our sherrif has aquitted Carmine, I tend to believe it is the case.

Okay, done reading, or at least skimming. The first thing I noticed was some interesting underlining by Talitha, but it's not every post, so it's probably just conincidence. But I'm still watching.
