An ever evolving brew:

  • Nights will last around 72 hours or so. If night choices come in earlier, it will dawn earlier.
  • Days will last as long as they need to. If discussion lags, I will impose two deadlines. The first may be rescinded or extended. The second will be final and binding.
  • Votes must be in
    bold
. If you do not bold your vote, it will not be counted.
  • Unvoting has been made redundant. Just make sure your votes are bold.
  • Lynching will require a simple majority of votes. Once a player has reached the necessary majority, his pleas are useless and any attempts to unvote will be unheeded.
  • You may
    vote: no lynch
    – majority votes of this kind are necessary to end the day without a death. Once a player votes no lynch, it will be taken that he has gone home and may not post again that day unless he gets half a majority of votes required to lynch him.
  • At deadline, half majority or more will constitute a lynch. First come, first served. Less than half majority = no lynch. Endgame (6 players or less) will require fully majority regardless of deadline.
  • The game is not to be discussed outside of the thread unless your role specifically states that you may do so.
  • Once your death scene has been posted, you’re dead. Stop typing.
  • Don’t edit/delete previously submitted posts
  • Don’t quote any messages from me. You are liable to get mod-killed if you do.
  • If you have a night choice to make, it is due by the posted deadline. I will not wait for you – if you do not submit a choice to me I will make a choice for you, the first time - which might result you being quite unhappy. From the second instance onwards, it will be forfeit.
  • If you anticipate being unavailable for more than a 48-hour period, please post a notice to that effect in the thread. Treat this game as a commitment. Be considerate – don’t leave us hanging.
  • I should post a vote count, ever so often, maybe every page or every alternate one. Please feel free to request one should you deem it necessary.
  • If you have any questions, you can pm me or ask in the thread. I'll get back to you as soon as possible, and with the best explanation that I can. You can also pm me if you want to tell someone about your day, or you thought something another player wrote was funny, or just to say hi. :D
  • I am always right, but not always accurate. If I've made a mistake, please tell my by email as soon as possible. If you try to notify me in thread, I'll have to to edit your post and you will most likely be mod-killed.
  • Most importantly...this is a game and we're here to have fun. Do your part.

My apologies for the current delay.
Still waiting on people to pick up and confirm roles.
I will likely give the slackers another 24h before I start slash and hack.

Since we will be starting with night, I'd like to request people to start sending in choices at this point. If you have a night action and wish to use it, please PM me.
Groups allowed communication may also do so right now.

Once again, I apologise for the delay.

Night choice deadline: 1700 GMT Sunday the 18th

I profusely apologise for the continued delay.
However, it will dawn on Monday the 19th, whether or not all choices are in.
The deadline is up.

Once again, I beg a thousand pardons.

A towering face of sheer granite cliff forms the backdrop for your little town. A crisp and clear lake at the base mirrors the magnificence of the mountain and little colourful houses along the lake front make for an absolutely picture post card setting.

A picture post card with a dark underbelly.

Trouble has come to your tourist town. The patrons have dried up and so have some of your townspeople. Almost literally.

Trouble began some time ago when the Wolves began to howl. Wolves, in general, are a perennial part of the country side but for the most part, they mind their own business and except for going after the livestock when the herder isn't looking, they are no threat to human village life.
But the trouble is that the new Wolves are no ordinary wolves. They are Werewolves. Unfortunate humans, cursed with a supernatural affliction.

It didn't take long for news of this to spread and pretty soon, the town became a virtual ghost town. Tourism being the major source of income, you had better do something soon about your "little" problem.

Blackberry
was a hard working man. The
Village Smith
used to spend the day hammering away in his forge, making tools for the villagers, as well as souvenirs for the tourists and he was quite well to do.

His regular schedule left him so exhausted that he'd barely touch his head upon his pillow, than he was fast asleep.

However, the recent events had dried up his tourist income, which formed a majority of his workload. Since he did good work and his implements did not wear out fast, Berry did not have much work on hand at the moment and this made him restless.

After tossing and turning futilely in his bed, Berry decided that perhaps a walk along the lake shore would be bracing. Perhaps he would get ideas as to what to do with his free time.

As Berry went around the lake, the moonlight reflected palely on the water, making for a mesmerizing sight. A sudden breeze sent a shiver up Berry's spine and a shimmer across the lake. Attracted by the glittering water, Berry at least saw what attacked him - a creature so terrifying that the scream that Berry opened his mouth to utter, never left his vocal chords.

The only thing you find at the spot the next morning is his stout iron belt - the one whose buckle was in the shape of a bear. The belt Berry never went anywhere without.
And a lot of blood.

Blackberry, the village smith, has been eaten.

what does a village smith do?
furthermore, Ancalagon and Panzer are always scum. With one replacing the other, i dont think there can be any other solution:

We will avenge you, Blackberry! We hardly knew thee! Er, actually, we didn't know thee at all.

Vengence takes the form, in this case, of a random vote. Vote: Coron
