A couple of things, thanks for those who like my avatar, I honestly can not remember how I can upon it, or whatever, but I like it just the same.

Claiming on page three isnt quite what I thought would happen just yet, and I dont really like that idea that we are role fishing already. Another game I am in Music of Capcom, is a pretty good game, but the same exact thing is happening, we are debating a mass role claim on day 1, to me not a good idea just yet... but that is besides the point. Right now, 1983 really seems to be very newbish, therefore should have some slack cut, but not totally off the hook in my mind just because he could just as likely be scum as anyone else could since the MOD distributed roles randomly...

any mod who doesn't distribute their roles randomly, should be burned at the stake!!! it goes against the whole concept of Mafia, at least from my understanding... do you have any specific examples where Sailor Jerry has distributed his roles in a manner other than by random?.. if the answer is no, then your point is invalid, as it is my understanding that it is understood that roles are to be distributed randomly...
My apologies to Jerry if any slur to his fairness as a mod was perceived. It was neither implied nor intended. I'm batting 100% on my roles at mafiascum and just thought it was part of the drill for new guys. In the future I will try to keep my out of game analysis to myself.

Well.. slack is one thing... but... scum are not getting off the hook. I don't think there's any such thing as an 'easy lynch'. And I think kil. is right about the mass claiming. Not just a bad idea, but a boring one, too. There is absolutely no reason for a vanilla to claim a vanilla, a power to claim a power, or a scum to claim a scum on day one. Especially not with a few votes on them.

Fircoal replaces Nardran, effective immediatelike.

How did Fircoal get to the boat?

We have a little tug, specifically for this purpose... and for the purpose of collecting additional supplies of Bacardi.

But that's really not the point.

Vote count:

Akbar (3) - wicked, Skruffs, kilmenator
LyingBrian (2) - Y.C., Akbar
ac1983fan (2) - LyingBrian, massive
cdogg85 (1) - davidangelsummers
davidangelsummers (1) - nardran
Skruffs (1)- Cheesefan

not voting (2) - ac1983fan, cdogg85

Yep, To me it looks like Ac1983fan and Akbar, are being the most suspicious. Though, I can't tell if they are scum or are just messing up.

Welcome aboard Fircoal.
*pokes Akbar with a stick*
Well, I guess you've defended yourself about as well as could be expected.
Unvote

No sense pushing it, for now.
1983 is a vanilla townie, I guess.
Lying Brian is going to be away for a few days.. darn. I think he needs more prodding over his reaction to Akbar's role-distribution defense. It struck me as.. panicky.
Though most things strike me the wrong way. :P
If something doesn't pop up, I'll probably root for a lurker. People hiding away in their cabins can be up to no good.

Sorry for lack of posts these past few days, not getting any e-mails about new posts, so I completely forgot about the game.

Anyway, one thing that caught my eye (which was ignored by everyone else) was the fact that Akbar posted a 3rd vote on LB. In my experience, 3rd vote on first day = trouble.
An unvote soon fixed the problem, but he sure drew attention from me.

Hey, you with the Middle-eastern- sounding user-name, I'm watching you!

Glad to hear it Y.C, I just hope your noting the folks who vote me if I ever get lynched. Believe me I have no desire to be lynched Day 1, I understand this is a team game. No hard feelings, as long as the information is used to lynch the mafia that jumped on/swayed the vote.

Your right about the name. Akbar is Middle-Eastern and roughly translates to the Great One or the Largest. Akbar is actually a very American 125 lb. Rottweiler, that is terribly friendly.

As far being 3rd on a totem pole. I don't check what vote # I am before voting for fear of "scum tells." I just vote what looks suspicious to me.

How did I get punished……?
Well It could be the pounding of hammers on my head…it could be the dry dessert that is my tongue…It could be the email I received this morning telling me of my actions of the night before….but im pretty sure its because my friend has a video of me clearing a space in the middle of Brighton town and dancing like Ricky Gervais at about 5pm
…..
Cheesefan- Jokes are fine, encouraged. I was Just Curious …

relax a little david, just cause some havent posted in a couple of days, doesnt mean we need poked really hard with a stick... hehe

I partially agree with the not checking to see what vote they are on, but I also think we need to be alittle aware of it as well, just cause. Just my opinion though.
