i dont buy this logic of someone more liekly being scum because of the amount of play, everyone has an equal chance of being scum whether or not they are newb or not. i also didnt like how you brought yourself into it, implying that you were more likely town because you were newb too.

For the record, I've only been playing on here for eight months or so. I've completed a few games, I'm in the twilight zone between newbie and experienced. Which sucks, because I'm experience enough to know I'm not very experienced at all.

I dunno if Akbar should be lynched for just that little comment buuuut.. if one scum just got caught badly defending another... we're still a good ways away from having to worry about that for now.

@Kilmenator I probably shouldn't being using "out of game logic" but its true. Most mods don't trust their cool roles with new players. That's my personal experience anyway. ac1983fan looks like a townie being pressured into RC by LB. Now Skruffs has pounced on me, saying I'm fishing by voting against fishing!

part of me feels for you, really it does... it's understood that you move onto the bigger games once you have the hang of how the game works... this game may not have been the best next step, b/c there are all sorts of possible setups that you may not be familiar with, but then again, the only way to really learn is to jump in w/ both feet... interesting, i just finished up reading your 1 completed game on this site... you were scum, and it was a short game, so based on that, i have absolutely no read on you... i would suggest a couple more newbie games, just to help w/ strategy & catching scum...

any mod who doesn't distribute their roles randomly, should be burned at the stake!!! it goes against the whole concept of Mafia, at least from my understanding... do you have any specific examples where Sailor Jerry has distributed his roles in a manner other than by random?.. if the answer is no, then your point is invalid, as it is my understanding that it is understood that roles are to be distributed randomly...

AC, traditionally, when I am in a situation where it looks like I am going to get lynched, I start asking questions and generating discussion. If you are in deed townie, than the way people react to what you say might help the rest of the townies later on. If you are scum, you can tell by who talks to you adn who avoids for you, sometimes, who is scum. I mean all a vanilla townie has is his wits and his vote. Are you a vanilla townie? I have no idea and I am not inferring that you are or are not. That's why I like to start games off with flavor, you can get a feel for people that way. Or at least I can. It can help if you end up in an endgame and you don't know which one is mafia and which one is townie and you have to choose. I hate that.

And yes, Akbar, I *POUNCED*! Actually I just noticed what massive said about 1983 'fishing' for my role, and then in your post, you kinda restarted that line of thinking, sayign that I was more likely not town or not vanilla. I guess I let the first one slide, but kinda took more notice of the second time.

Don't worry, though, my vote is fickle. I'll probaly be moving it to someone else when a better reason comes up. But I *am* noting the twin defense ploy.
