That was the sight I was welcomed by this morning when I logged in. Nothing seemed to be wrong with my inbox or outbox (I had moved everything to my savebox for some ridiculous reason), but I thought this was a bit odd.

I assume what really happend is that you have -1 private messages. (65535=2^16-1) Which is still weird, but possibly easier to explain.

While we're on the subject of site weirdness, I'll mention that I got sent an email claiming I was given Capdecima modding privledges. Which is weird because

1. I hadn't requested them
2. When I went to look at the Capodecima list, I wasn't listed on it.

Someone might have put you on there by accident and then removed you.

And yes, the most likely explanation for the PM thing is that the count got off somehow and it thought you had -1 PMs. Not sure how that would happen, but nothing to worry about.

I was in Road to Rome and saw your post in Kain's Mormon game that you were taking over as mod & got disoriented because I was about to call his Mormon game in Coney Island abandoned. Moments later, I realized my mistake and fixed it.

Interestingly, I got the same error a few seconds ago.

I know no one cares, but I was about to make a topic about it, so here's the pic that I already uploaded:

-1 private messages means I got a message then it was suddenly deleted, or what?

I've actually had a similar problem on WotC's forums, which uses vBulletin. I had, at one time, 21 messages in my inbox (when 20 is allowed). They were also doing upgrades, at that time.

I'll look into it. It's possible that somehow the count got off. I have a lot of work in front of me for the site, and I've done a splendid job of procrastinating. Things should be easing up at work, so I'll have more time (I keep thinking this and then someone goes on vacation or something happens...)

I am getting caught up, though and should be able to get some things done that are on my personal to do list.

I don't know if it matters, but I didn't get e-mails for the PMs (I have the option enabled).

I think we just have a general problem with the emailer code somewhere.

I get e-mails for all other PMs, just not for the 65535.

I think Zindaras and Klebian PMing back and forth 65535 love letters is what caused the crash.

I have around 20 pms in my mail I think. So it's not because of a -1.
