Argh. It was doing relatively well the past few days, too.
Looking at the logs, it seems we've had one CPU Quota error most days, caused primarily by one extremely slow MySQL query. Yesterday, that query was a search one - I could understand those being slow (but on the other hand, they're obviously notthatslowallthe time, or we'd have CPU Quota errors constantly... and that totally sounds like WIFOM, doesn't it ).
Today, we've already had three, and none of them were caused by just one MySQL query, but several not-quite-so-slow-but-still-slow ones, and most of these queries are just routine forum stuff (loading a page and what not).
bluehost will not be getting a valentine today. I'll yell at them some more when I get a chance.-

I got it continously for the 2 days I was around but posting only short posts. It was so bad I had to request replacement for 2 games because I simply could NOT reread the games... it hit everytime I was at page 14 or so.
I got online yesterday at 1.08 am, posted in 2 games, and got hit again. Ditto this morning at 11.07.Blank.-

I'm in the habit of doing a Ctrl+End, Ctrl+Shift+Home, Ctrl+C before sending anything.Mr. Flay wrote:Usually 2-5 minutes for me, now...it used to be much longer, so I just go and do something else.
Also, if you use Firefox, the Back button is MUCH better at saving your edit/post content when this hits...-

Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C is even faster.Kelly Chen wrote:

Why do all of that when Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C has the exact same effect?Kelly Chen wrote:

I just got a CPU error... but I noticed something very odd right before it came up. I posted a reply in What's a Bodyguard? (Post 4, obviously), and when I clicked submit, the site didn't really do anything (FF indicated that it was trying to load a page, but it just sat there for about a minute). I clicked to stop the browser, and then hit the Preview button. My post showed up as having gone through in the thread preview, so I exited the thread and went to refresh the site index. When I did this, the most recent post was listed as PJ's reply (to the same thread) two minutes before. But when I went to Mafia Discussion and to the thread, I could see that I had posted. Immediately thereafter, I got a CPU error.
It seemed more-than-coincidental enough that I figured it was related. I wish I had gotten screenshots. I don't know if it'll help you (or Bluehost) pinpoint anything, but it can't hurt to post what happened.-
