Y'know, screw it. I don't care if my sanity changes or not, I caught scum and I can figure out my sanity over the next two days.

I may investigate at any time, but there are two weird limits (well, investigating at any time is weird on its own). One, I have to wait at least 24 hours for the result, and at most a week. Two, I must wait at least 72 hours to investigate again, and if I don't investigate within 48 hours of that, I lose the investigation. If I lose the investigation, I must wait 96 hours to investigate again.

Again, I don't particularly like this role. For my next investigation, I'm going to investigate myself. I find out under what condition my sanity changes next when I get my next result.

PBuG, just to confirm, you're saying you're absolutely sure you're sane, in a game where the mod has downright said we should be expected to be lied to?

If this is the case, a simple "yes" will do, I'm not asking you details about how you know that, but you see, I'm still hesitant to blindly bandwagon somebody based on a guaranteed-sane cop claim, because in this game, it seems very likely the mod would tell somebody he/she is guaranteed sane just to screw things over.

I'm going to wait for his claim. While I have no idea of Shamrock's alignment, I don't trust this result at all. Come to think of it, this pretty much means Shamrock has a 50% chance of being evil.

PBug could be lying too, but I think that's unlikely.

I think what I will do I investigate myself, then investigate Shamrock again. I've already sent in my self investigation (I sent it in after post 156), so hopefully I'll get the result, and my new sanity changer, soon. I know that if I get an innocent result, I'm naive, so I hope I get scum on myself.

I'm not going to ask any questions of you for fear of compromising your role, but there really do seem to be some really, really bizarre roles in this game.

OK, I'll bite. Why would you get a guilty if you investigated yourself (assuming you are sane)?

My sanity changes. It changed after I posted this because the first change condition was a full roleclaim. So, I'm not longer sane. If I get an innocent, I'm naive so I'll try to fulfill the change condition. If I get guilty, I'm insane or paranoid, so when I investigate Shamrock again, if I get guilty, I'm paranoid, and if I get innocent, I'm insane. I have a very confusing role. I hope random isn't one of the sanities I can get.

I agree with bertrand, theres a pretty big wagon on shamrock already and I would like to see shamrock claim before deciding to trust PBuG or not.

@PBuG: In trying to figure out how many levels of bastardity we're dealing with from VisMaior, I've actually been thinking that you get random results regardless and everything about your sanity changing is smoke and mirrors. If after you make your investigations you come to the conclusion that Shamrock is scum, I guess I'd be willing to follow, but I wouldn't be so sure.
