Mini 310: PrimeTime's Mod Abandoned! Tell All Your Friends!

After a long week of putting up with whiny, attention-whoring co-stars, being interrupted by commercials, and struggling to entertain viewers while maintaining a semblance of originality, all a TV show wants to do at the end of the week is kick back with a nice PB + J and watch a little hard-earned Late Night (shhhhh... guilty pleasure).

Midway through an episode of Conan (Hey, I can't help it if he's charming AND funny), you nearly spit out your post-sandwich glass of milk as the station cuts to some boring "Breaking News Bulletin." As you're about to put your satellite-broadcast fist through the screen, you hear something that disturbs you greatly.

"...cancelled."

You sit down in your chair, stunned. After recovering from the shock of hearing what is essentially the ultimate curse word to the ears of a television show, you rewind your TiVo to make sure you've gotten everything right. And you have: Both Arrested Development and Family Guy have been cancelled outright, apparently by a malicious band of

horrible

TV shows working to insure their air slot. Enraged, saddened, and with justice on your agenda, you grab your coat and head to your studio lot, where you intend to meet up with other TV shows that you know to be good and true and rid the airwaves of this menace forever.

2. I will gladly accept No Lynch, so long as it is in the format

6. DO NOT DISCUSS STRATEGY DURING TWILIGHT. AT ALL. PERIOD. I will try to be as prompt with vote counts and lynch scenes as possible, to head this off. PLEASE try to keep whether or not we’re in Twilight in mind.

A. You may say, “Well, I hope we got one.”
B. You may NOT say, “Role X, please target Y person tonight.”
A. You may say, “Person X is unintelligent.”
B. You may NOT say, “Person X is unintelligent and should be investigated tonight.”

8. If a day starts to drag, I will institute a Deadline. If discussion starts to pick up, I may revoke the Deadline. At the Deadline, if no player has the minimum number of votes required for a lynch, there will be no lynch for that day.
9. If you’re going to be gone for more than, say, 48 hours, please post in this thread or PM me. If a player is gone for longer than that or is consistently unavailable except in short spurts, I will make efforts to replace that player.
10. Participate! It’ll be more fun that way! In that vein, please be respectful of your Mod and fellow players, no matter how bad they are at this game . Finally: I’m not infallible. If I made a boo-boo, let me know.

After a night of fitful sleep in the station HQ, you awake with a start: Something is off. A hastily-organized meeting is held in the lobby, and several shows express a deep feeling of uneasiness. You wander around as a group, searching through the various rooms and channels, only to find each room empty and otherwise functioning normally and properly. A final gathering and headcount reveal something strange: There are exactly the same number of you as there are when you started. Still, you can’t seem to shake a feeling of deep concern. Looks like you’ll just have to hit the ground running on this thing, with only a disturbance in the force to guide your wrath.

With 12 alive, it will take 7 to lynch.
