The only reason I'm not voting yet is because I want to get Norinel's reaction before we go to night, but he won't be back until Saturday- mod, can we get a replacement if possible?

OK, so since there's no replacement upcoming for Norinel, is it worthwhile to wait two days to get his input, or should we lynch Kingpin now? Thoughts?

Well, I'm just as clueless now as I was when I voted Kingpin. I still think its either him or LML. Just waiting around to see what everyone else thinks.

OK, I will vote kingpin- I was going to anyway but I was waiting for norinel to show up...

that's three; we need one more from either norinel or passdog (unless kingpin is willing to vote himself).

Considering how dire a situation one wrong lynch and one right lynch may've put us, I'd say the town against 3 mafia and an SK deserves all the help it can get.

What makes this so much easier is that no other revealed or claimed role has had any more flavor than the rolename as generally used on Mafiascum. That and the sheer unlikeliness of what KP suggests makes me think lynching him a risk worth taking.

But I'll only , as the reason the game hasn't ended just might be that we have a vig and they can hit right (And the mafia kill can be blocked somehow) tonight. If so, we need to find a second scum today. Will gladly vote, of course.

Sorry to have not posted in a while: I have been organising a function for the last week and have had limited time. Now its over I have more time.

I agree I think it is pretty plain that KingPin is scum. I wasn't certain at first, but the more I think it over it is plain that a game this size can only afford one SK plus a scum group. Had either of the SK's stated that they were odd or even night killers (which is what I thought might be possible until I reread KingPin's claim and realised he claimed to have targeted two nights in a row) then it may have been plausible for there to be more than one.

Norinel's speculation that there might still be a vig concerns me a little. Three reason's:

1. The certainty that there are three scum out there is immediately troubling. If there are three scum shouldn't they have won by now? I am starting to assume there are only two considering the numbers.
2. He didn't vote for KingPin - made all the right gestures but failed to vote. Of course, am explanation was provided but in light of the next point I think this is relevant.
3. Speculation based on whether there is a vig that could be an attempt to draw him/her out. He didn't vote KingPin yet so that he could get as much info out of the town as possible. If there is a vig out there I suggest you keep quiet.

Despite all these factors that was just one post - in all honesty I hadn't suspected Norinel at all till now - in fact I was positive he was town. I could be reading too much into things.

Anyway, we have one pretty obvious mafioso: .

As the town realized they have lynched a Serial Killer, they remember KingPin's claim from yesterday. They remember him saying that HE was a Serial Killer as well. Could KingPin be telling the truth? Could there be 2 Serial Killers? Surely the mod couldn't be THAT crazy. As the town chants, "We must lynch

!" they lead him to the gallows. KingPin screams just before his deathly plunge, "You all are making a big mistake, PLEASE don't lynch me!" KingPin slumps as he loses consciousness.

As Norinel thinks to himself, "Gee, if only i knew who the Mafia was...", he rounded the corner of Main & 5th and saw a shadowy figure lurking nearby. Quietly, he snuck up on the figure & wrestled him to the ground. "I've caught you now!" Norinel exclaims. "Now the town has a fighting chance!" Just then Norinel notices the stench of alcohol-laden breath at the same time as he feels it on the back of his neck. Another figure whispers, "You were right, but oh so wrong!" as the gunshot makes sure Norinel won't be interfering anymore.

draygn_mage, LoudmouthLee, Passdog, & vikingfan wake up the next day. With only 4 people alive, could the town still have a chance? "Not an ice cube's chance in

!" exclaim Passdog & vikingfan. They both draw their weapons & gun down the two remaining innocents, draygn_mage & LoudmouthLee!

sorry about the recent lag, but i was really sick over the weekend, and i am still trying to catch up on sleep & everything else (i like my new job, but my hours are completely opposite to what i'm used to)... please feel free to post your thoughts, likes, dislikes, etc. i am always open to suggestion, and as always, feel free to PM me...

Woohoo! I'm really happy about the way that I sailed under the radar and avoided being suspected even at the end when norinel blocked passdog instead of me...

Good thing too, because I think we still would have won even if we hadn't committed our mistake. Kingpin misread his PM to mean that we could talk during the day, so we did...didn't have much effect for the most part (we barely talked) until we coordinated aelyn's lynch...which we could have pulled off anyway, but yeah...

Even if we hadn't done that, I think we probably would have won anyway...aelyn and lml investigating the same person is what really screwed the town...

Oh, and we discovered our mistake right after we lynched him actually...

a couple of comments for whom it may concern:

concerning vikingfan's admission, i reread the PM's i sent the Mafia, and i did NOT specifically state that they could only talk during the NIGHT phase... also vikingfan did let me know of the discrepancy, but a)there wasn't much i could do to correct it, b)did not feel it impacted the game THAT much... i will be rewording the PM's for my future games (if they ever let me mod again, lol)

Holy crap- I just looked back through the vote counts and I was only voted once- and that was a dying vote by fiasco!

Good game guys.

It was a pretty unique situation we had there with two cops claimed on day 1. I was pretty shocked to see it pan out as it did - it really created some convenient confusion that allowed us to lynch plenty of people and not be targeted ourselves.

Lying Brian: I think the set up is actually pretty good. I really enjoy playing.

I have to give props to Norinel - there was no point in the game where I felt we could get you lynched. And I had no idea you were a role blocker. I'm pretty sure you knew who was mafia too (which is why I wanted you dead). I reckon you were easily Town MVP.

Thanks to KingPin and vikingfan - great game guys and a pleasure playing with you both. This is my first win as mafia!!

(sigh) Congrats, scum. This was a pretty tragic game from the town/SK's perspective.
