Yes, I know, and in general, I agree with you. I'm just saying that I used exactly the same argument in my game when I was scummy, that's all.

It's not enough to merit a vote anyway- the other stuff you've said does (which has been outlined ad nauseum).

This was a game with a death scene with a SK-like modus operandi, but that actually had two mafia groups? And you gave yourself away by talking about two "scum groups"?

Remember my #1 rule: never outguess the mod...not that it matters: on the list of scummy things I'm suspecting you for, this is quite a ways down the list...

It just occurred to me that maybe Passdog doesn't think a group can have one member. That makes his misinterpretation slightly less unreasonable.

vikingfan, I'm interested in this not so much because of what it says about me, but because of what it says about you. This "tell" isn't just "not enough to merit a vote"; it's bleeding ridiculous, and it's beginning to sound like you're grasping at every possible straw to get me lynched... and in this case, maybe to make the town doubt whether there's an SK.

Exactly. The word group immediately implies more than one member. How many groups of one have you ever seen?

Passdog, I suppose an overdose of math has warped my mind beyond recognition. My apologies. Still, I think you could have been a lot more lenient in your interpretation. Instead of "the other group", what would you call an entity-that-may-be-either-a-group-or-something-consisting-of-only-one-person? A team? A faction? A party? You could see all of these as implying more than one person, too.

For the above stated reasons, by others and myself. I believe Fiasco to be scum.

Vote: Fiasco

I also agree that the cops should investigate whom they wish and not inform the town. Why give scum any more information than they already have on D1.

Fiasco, I'm gonna keep my vote on. Nothing you have done at any point in this game has made me feel any less happy about having my vote on you - and there's been a lot that makes me happier. Your vanilla claim. Your repeated attempts to distract attention anywhere other than yourself. Your semantic slip-ups which you attempt to cover with sarcasm and wifom.

Sorry, dude, but if you're not scum you're hiding it pretty well.

"semantic slip-ups"? Does that mean you too take this "scum groups" nonsense seriously?

I'm more sure after that post that Aelyn is scum, but it's probably too late already.

Aagh! Very sorry about the double posts, but I forgot: I'm at five once again, and KingPin is scummy for not mentioning this.

Bro, we have a deadline coming up and there's nothing else we can get from you- in quite a few other games, you probably would have been lynched long ago. I'm not viewing it as scummy at all (at least, not in and of itself). What you're saying might carry more weight with me if you hadn't been pointing suspicion at people like crazy in this game.

BTW, I
would
have viewed it as scummy normally, just not at this late stage of the day. Besides, there's a VOTE COUNT ONLY TWO posts above the last vote- why is a warning needed?

Why would not mentioning five votes be scummy? I agree with Viking that at this stage of the game, it's fine.

Not putting the last vote on at this time, as we still have a bit of time before the deadline, but I'm certainly leaning towards doing it.

I'm really a townie. I think LML and Aelyn are probably bad guys, but I'm not sure. Anything else you want to know now that it's still twilight?

I was actually looking forward to this game, and it turned out not to be the most uplifting game to be in, but oh well, that happens at times. Good luck, town!

PS I think when KingPin placed his vote, the counter still mistakenly said 3.

The counter did say 3, but there were 4 people listed in the box next to it.

I still think you are scum!

As the town gathers around and discusses the events of the previous night, one person stands out. He likes to talk above everybody else and takes his turn very liberally. After Don Gaetano and LoudmouthLee both claim to be cops, he even advocates lynching a claimed cop. Under pressure of a deadline, the town makes their decision. "We must lynch
Fiasco
!" Unfortunately, Fiasco was not the scum everybody thought he was. He was a plain, vanilla townie whose only power was the power of his voice and his vote.

Day 1

  • Fiasco
    (
    Townie
    ) -
    lynched
    • Aelyn

As Don Gaetano patrols his beat, he thinks to himself, "So far, a peaceful night. Maybe I'll go home on time and get a decent amount of sleep. I have got to find out who in this town has already killed off 3 of our beloved citizens!" A figure steps from the shadows of the alley Don Gaetano has just passed. "Let's make it 4, shall we?", the trenchcoated figure hisses. Don Gaetano whips around just in time to see a .22 Long Rifle pointed to his head. The suppressor silences the gun shot, and the figure jumps into his car which makes a fast, clean getaway.

Night 1

    Cop

  • Status:

  • Lynch:

Bah. DG was innocent, and my investigation...

And Now, I'm sure I look scummy. I'm really, really not.

I believe I'm naive. Otherwise, the scum would have killed me instead of DG.

The correct play today is Aelyn.

Vote: Aelyn

Hmm...interesting that there was only one kill. If the other killing party went after Aelyn, that would explain why there was only one death. Alternatively, there is a backup doc who protected successfully or a roleblocker. Or they could have just not to chosen not to kill altogether...

Not sure what the best play is since we're not sure of DG's sanity. Hmm....
