(blantantly stolen from Weatherlight, which I stole from my One-Shot Mini, which I got from my Newbie game):
Note: Stuff that's different from normal is italicized so you'll pay more attention to it.
> Votes must be in
bold
. If you do not bold your vote, it will not be counted. This makes my life a hell of a lot easier, so do it.
> Please take the time to unvote before casting a new vote. This is
not
required, but it sure makes my life easier. I'm pretty attentive and won't get ridiculously confused, so don't fret if you forget to unvote.
> Executions will require a simple majority of votes. Once a player has reached the necessary majority, his or her pleas are useless and any attempts to unvote will be unheeded.
The town may continue to discuss the game until I post the lynch scene and lock the thread.
> You may vote
no lynch
to end the day without a lynch.
It takes 50% to perform a 'no lynch', not a majority
. For example, if there are 12 players left and 6 vote not to lynch, the day will end. This is because it will be impossible for the remainder of the town to lynch anyone. If there are an odd number of players, it will obviously take more than 50%.
> If you'd like a vote count, feel that an inactive player needs to be prodded, or otherwise need to get my attention, let me know
in bold
. I like to read my games to see what's going on, but sometimes I'm rushed and only have time to skim and only read the bold text. I try to make sure there's a vote count on every page to make it easier to reference back, but I forget sometimes.
> The Vote Count is listed in descending order from whomever has the most votes downwards. In the case of a tie, whoever received more votes first will be listed on top. If there is an error in the vote count, just tell me and it will be corrected.
> If a player has 50% or more of the votes required to lynch them, I'll usually bold their name to add emphasis.
> If a deadline is ever imposed, whomever has the most votes at deadline will be lynched, using the above system for tiebreakers.
> If you plan on being unavailable for more than a 48-hour period, please post a notice in the thread or send me a private message. Treat this game as a commitment. Be considerate – don't leave us hanging. If you're unable to play for whatever reason, just drop me a PM letting me know, please just don't disappear. If you tell me, I promise I won't get mad; it's no problem for me to find replacements.
> The game is not to be discussed outside of the thread, unless you are in an anti-town group or your role specifically states otherwise.
> Once your death scene has been posted, you're dead. Please stop typing. I'm fine with a few parting words such as "bah, go town", but nothing with game-affecting content. I'm pretty lenient about this, but don't push it.
> Don't edit/delete previously submitted posts. If you accidentally double post or make a tragic formatting error, just let me know and I'll fix the problem. I'm pretty good at catching stuff like that anyway.
> If you have any questions, just ask. I'm cool like that. 8)
> Remember, it's just a game. It's supposed to be
fun
. Do your part, and stay active.
The Pooky Rule (Day 1) wrote:All players must huggle someone at leasty twice per day. They cannot have more than one huggle per post.
The Italics Rule (Day 2) wrote:Each player may italicize their vote once per day, which allows that vote to count for two, but it may not be moved for the rest of the day. There may only be up to four italicized votes on a person.

Here's what a role would look like. Obviously, this role is not in the game. Anything above Alignment may be quoted in-game and will be revealed upon your death. Anything below Alignment can only be paraphrased, not quoted (under penalty of ModKill™) and will not be revealed on death. All pro-town roles end with "You win when all the baddies are dead."
Example Role wrote:Player Name: BrianMcQueso
Game Name: BrianMcQueso's One-Shot Mafia

Character Name: Arthur Roleblocker
Role Description: One-Shot Roleblocker
Alignment: Town
BMQ's infamous One-Shot Mafia limited each player, even the Mafia, to use their special powers only one time each. You have the same restriction; once during the game, you may send me the name of another player in the town. That player's night action will have no effect that night. As an added bonus, if you roleblock -any- member of a killing group, the group's kill will be prevented. You win when all the baddies are dead.
Please confirm by PM. We'll be starting with Day.
