I don't agree. Two role blockers is a weird set-up in a mini.

Just because it's weird doesn't mean that it's not balanceable.
We could either have a really powerful or really weak mafia, and in either case, the two roleblockers help us out.

True, but we can deny ideas because they're imbalanced. We can't deny ideas because they're wierd.

so it's normal practice to run up the 2nd person who claimed a role?... could be a scum move trying to get the town to lynch an innocent... i have an idea, why not have us both use our roles tonight & see who comes up w/ the best info...?

That makes sense, because, you know, roleblockers are often great at investigating whether or not other people are scum. Wait, no, that's cops, my vote stays on you.

I'm also having a hard time believing that there could be two role blockers that are pro town. Lucy is mean and could very well be a scum role. With Snap coming out, I'd rather lynch LyingBrian right now. However would anyone be against Snap revealing his role name? Seeing as he has already reveled his power I can't see the harm in it.

Plus we might have a rolename cop who can show prove snap if he shows up innocent.

Good point, Sotty. What's the harm in Snap revealing his role name?

That's an interesting development, the way I see it if Snap was mafia he'd be an idiot because if we lynched Brian and he came up innocent we'd lynch him, if he is innocent he is smart or ok because if they both turn out to be innocent we're in trouble.
In other news I will

I didn't roleblock anyone last night, I didn't see the point as I had nothing to go on, so I didn't want to accidently hit a doc or something.

And for what it's worth, I'm Linus. Any namecops, feel free to check.

I still don't quite understand how we can jump from voting one supposed roleblocker to another supposed roleblocker. About all we have to tip the balance are the names, Lucy and Linus. Lucy was not
very nice in
peanuts, right? But was she 'evil'? I do not know enough about Peanuts to make that leap.

Anyway, I am happy to keep my vote on Pickle for the reasons I have mentioned earlier.

I don't think anybody jumped from voting LB to voting Snap. I think we are more inclined to believe Snap because LB claimed roleblocker under presure of being lynched, and then Snap came out as roleblocker to counterclaim LB.

Also, nobody's REALLY EVIL in peanuts. But relatively, Lucy *could* be evil because she always tricks Charlie Brown with the football. I also think she isn't that nice to Linus, her younger brother. Doesn't she call him a baby because of his blanket? (not sure).

Yeah. I'm more inclined to believe that Lucy is scum.

I don't think this is very difficult.

Lucy and Linus are both likely to be in the game. So in the absence of a counterclaim, we can safely assume, for the time being, that these are their real roles.

Two roleblockers in a mini game is not impossible. But two
pro-town
roleblockers in a mini game is simply unbelievable.

So the overwhelming likelihood is that one of them is scum. But which one? Lucy or Linus?

That is a no-brainer. When all is said and done, Lucy is a nasty piece of work and its difficult to think of many other major Peanuts characters who could be scum.

So
Unvote: Dragon Phoenix
(but IGMEOY) and
Vote: LyingBrian
. You don't get any better evidence than this on Day 1.

In my house there is an amazing collection of Peanuts comics, in these books the closest thing to evil would be the teachers (Which I heavily doubt because they never even show their faces) or Lucy. I have little else that could be evil at this point other than her.
Quidgyboo, why are you so reluctant to vote for the closest thing we have to a scummy player?
That seems scummy to me. Perhaps you wish to protect your scum partner?

Maybe we have no mafia at all, and the evil is one in our heads!

Sorry, was reading the crucible, and this idea popped into my mind.

i really don't know what else i can do to defend myself! i don't want to give up, but at the same time i know it is generally a random bandwagon on D1, and that bandwagon has to be me this time! anyone who knows me from other games would probably say that my D1 antics are not out of the ordinary, just my personal schtick. i still say that Snap & his scummate took advantage of a bad bandwagon to counter-claim, so when i come up clean, make sure to lynch him tomorrow!

On the off-chance that there
are
two pro-town roleblockers, and you're not scum, I suggest a cop checks me out tonight. You'll find me innocent, and I'm still confident that LyingBrian is mafia, but best to be safe.

Vote LyingBrian
No one is neccessarily evil in Peanuts, but Lucy is the closest to being bad. This seems to me to be a fairly safe vote. I hope we're right with this one.

I am voting for the scummiest person I can see. What's your excuse? You go on about how Lying must be scum, cause Lucy is worse than Linus and there are probably not two roleblockers (I try not to outguess the mod, I've been burnt doing this), and yet you vote for me? I might be wrong, I might be right, but you're certainly the scummiest thing I see at the moment.
