First, I can now respond to hoops' point. Hoops, when I've been town (see: always) I've asked people to explain their votes on me so I can defend myself or point out where they're wrong. So I really don't see anything wrong with the concept.

Reads are tough in this game so far, it's so short. I've already said I think you're town, and raspberry's lack of content bothers me. NS is bothering me for similar reasons. hoops I can see as either alignment but I haven't had time to do a deep read; I've been somewhat distracted by [redacteds]. But I'll try to analyze this thread in depth later. Shouldn't be too hard. And hopefully by then we'll have some content from rasp and NS.

Saul, why not vote NS now? Get some pressure on him as he seems to be lurking, according to you. A townie's main tool is his vote. You should use it.

Two reasons.

1) While I can sometimes throw a few votes around early in a game for pressure, as it gets closer to the wire, I get a lot more worried about placing a vote without a solid reason, allowing scum to capitalize on it. We're essentially in end-game now; a mislynch could potentially... (see point two)

2) NS hasn't posted enough, and there's not enough content in this game yet, for me to feel comfortable, if it's a mislynch, that his vengeance action would hit scum. If we mislynch and the vig action hits town, scum win.

I want more conversation overall to both scumhunt and get a good feel for if we mislynch, where that mislynch's vengeance will go.

Prod received. Sorry, I'm normally more active in smaller games, but I've not been feeling well lately and have been sleeping a lot.

Anyway, after re-reading, I have come to the conclusion that SK has been far too in-your-face to be GF. I wouldn't put it past him, though, to be the Goon, drawing fire from his GF.

Now, as for who that could be....

Well, saul & hoops aren't playing anywhere near what I would consider a non-town game, so it looks like raspberry.

Eh, not really sure how I should be able to tell the GF and Goon apart from their actions, but I don't think a GF would act so harshly...
But he just might be acting like that to avoid suspicion. So, like a double negative? If that makes sense...

There are plenty of different playstyles. Yours, for example, could be read as scum, because you're not actually doing anything. Harsh != scum.

Well, reading your only other game on MS, you were more aggressive in your playstyle, and flipped town. So I feel it's your first game as scum (at least in MS) and you are trying not to attract the heat.
@ Saulres, do you object to me hammering? Because I plan on doing so in the next few minutes.

I of course can't stop you. I metaed him too, and his play seems similar to me, honestly. (Remember: DO NOT discuss ongoing games).

I'm not thrilled by the idea of if it's a mislynch, venge-ing Sleepy. My gut tells me NS is a better choice so I hope rasp (again, if town) looks carefully at them. If there's more time to analyze I'll be doing that to make a case but if you hammer I'll wait to see what pans out (and hope there's another day).

I'm sorry for your not feeling well. But can you explain why a game with less than 4 pages is harder to keep up on than, say, something larger, when you've clearly been awake and onsite for a few hour chunks at a time?

I wasn't discussing an ongoing game, merely pointing out rasp's play in a game where he's dead. I also feel stronger about my vote because Rasp's first vote was on Sleepy, who I think is goon, so early distancing.
