I'd be down for a battle star group night.

I was doing okay up until I had to ask about Cylon mechanics

Today I played "Escape from the Aliens in Outer Space". I really enjoyed it. It's a hidden information game where the humans are trying to escape the space station and the aliens are trying to eat them, and nobody knows where anyone else is for sure.

Since no other time has been thrown out, how about Saturday at 8pm PST (which I think is early afternoon Sunday in Australia) for tabletop sim night? I'd be down for bsg or whatever but might need a quick rundown of the rules again.

Saturday 8pm works for me. I'd have to buy TableTop Sim, though- not a big deal, but I'd certainly need heads up if this gets planned so I can download it.

Sorry Axxle haven't been online in a couple of days.

My weekends are swamped at the minute, so I'm a no go. They should clear up here soon.

Hey guys can you recommend some strategy/war games? The only ones I have that could be considered that are Smallworld and Game of Thrones.

Diplomacy.
Imperial.
Fief.
Blood Rage.

Twilight Struggle is probably the best 2 player war game.

That's a game I should look into someday. Looks very interesting.

Diplomacy is the only one I know from LLD's list. That one is amazing, but quite hardcore. Takes dedication, takes time. Not for everybody.

if you have GoT already you probably don't need Diplomacy tbh

I've heard good things about Memoir '44, but can't speak to it personally.

I'm not quite sure from that description the sorts of things you're looking for though.

Memoir 44 is a great light tactical war game. Assuming you don't want to go heavy into true war games?

If we ever do want to do that Tabletop Simulator night, anyone who's interested should grab it on Steam right now while it's on sale. Only $9.99 until July 4th!

I'll most likely be getting it anyways, sounds like a pretty basic game to have in my collection.

Also, are there like gaming bags? I'm carrying my games around in boxes and feel they deserve better.

I'll check out Memoir 44, I loved Smallworld and I know Ticket to Ride is good as well by the same people.
