Eating dinner, so just a brief reply. I'll elaborate later, though I think I've already made cases against all three that have not been adequately refuted in my eyes. In order of descending scumminess:

1-Hazard (Voted on him)
2-Hoppster
3-Silver

Snagging this on behalf of mod so Robocopter has a reserved place near the top of the page for vote count.

Thanks but one of the reasons I reserve is so if people ISO me they can see my latest votecount. Thanks for the thought though.

It's a nice transition, though.
Why aren't you voting any of them?

I disagree on both counts.
...which, of course, is besides the point. Why did you dodge my question?

@Nachos: That was meant to be my answer. If you don't get it, by that post I meant that I am not completely certain that they are Mafia, but I should still keep my eye on them because you never know.

Why did you cast a random vote here instead of one on Silver?

Silver already had votes on him and I decided to vote someone that wasn't voted yet to get discussion with more people going.

Verbs wrote:My first point against you was because I said I dislike players that stall the game by not voting. You countered with “oh but I scum hunt by doing x, y, and z” and than the the no lynch vote happened. That did not help us hunt down scum at all.
No, you said that you said you disliked players WHO DIDN'T SCUMHUNT. He pointed out how he scumhunted, and you changed the point.

I feel that you are misunderstanding me here. I'll give you my logic from the very start of the issue. Silver originally said something to the extent that he wasn't going to vote till he saw something scummy. I than said that I was going to keep my eye on him because I disliked players that did not actively scum hunt which is exactly the same as: delaying/stalling the game.

Verbs wrote:Are you going to continue stalling all game because even if you are town, that is only helping the mafia.
This is hypocritical. How is HE stalling the game when YOU are the one who isn't posting?
But I have been posting (although not as often as some, but my posts have been full of content)... and I've been pointing out any sort of play that I feel is going to hurt the town. So far it has been against silver, and he hasn't even given my questions against him a proper answer yet, he's pretty much ignored my last post with issues against him. Wouldn't you call that stalling?

So Silver, you want to actually respond to those points, or just advance the post count?

That said, I'm reading Silver more and more as "Bad Townie" rather than "Scum." I've seen similar from inexperienced townies in games I've read.

I'm thinking the same thing, but bad townie and bad mafia often look very similar, in my experience. Still keeping an eye out.

@ Pine: I can't actually find the actual post now (even ISOing you), and I'm too tired to look more carefully right now. I'll have another look tomorrow. However, off the top of my head, your 'case' on me was based on two points: a) Me 'parroting' your logic; b) Hazard and I having some kind of mutual* defence.

My response (in brief):

a) We think alike in some cases, why is this scummy? If it's due to the fact that you posted first, then that's something based on factors out of my control.

b) I haven't been defending him, so it's not mutual*. Also, his defence of me is yet again something based on factors out of my control. And FWIW, I can see where he's coming from with his defence (although he's leaped to that conclusion far too swiftly).

*DISCLAIMER: you may not have said mutal, I can't remember.

@ Mod: Can I request a
polite reminder
to Hazard with a Glove that this game exists/has started? I know it hasn't been 72 hours yet, but he didn't seem to have bookmarked it before and it's possible that he still hasn't.
Benmage: First, for the sake of irony. I'm going to illustrate how completely idiotic and hypocritical scumhunter is.

Anyway...
Not to get overly defensive, but I'd like to hear why Nacho voted me on the last page. There was no reason what so ever. Also, Nacho, you know for a fact Pine is town. Now how is that?

What am I, an Insane Townie? XD
Anyway, I remembered the reasons why I am suspicious of the three I mentioned.
Verbs: Hasn't posted in awhile. Might be because someone got him panicking, although I'm not sure.
Des: I really don't know, but I have a hunch... don't trust it yet though, it's not always 100% correct.
Joe: Same reason as when I voted for him, but his posts have got more sensible now :)

@Hazard: Re-reading the thread, I think your accusation against Pine and trust of Hoppster are really not warranted at all. Pine started out a little too aggressively, but he has arguments for what he's claiming. So, could you explain why you were willing to say Hoppster was town so early in the game (not why you thought he was, but why you thought it was wise to base your read on a couple of pages
and share it with us and Hoppster
, so that one potential pattern is gone.)

My mom's birthday was yesterday, spent the day with family, hence no post.

@Hoppster: Meh, my suspicions of you were based on relatively thin evidence, but it was pretty much the only evidence we had at the time. You're demoted on my scum list. Oh, the whole mutual defense bit was regarding you doing the chainsaw routine on me after I started going after Hazard.

As promised, I'd like to turn the spotlight onto someone who hasn't gotten it much yet. I'd initially said Drew and Joe, I think, but Joe hasn't posted a whole lot worth picking apart, which is a tad scummy in itself but not really damning. Post more, scum.

Drew, on the other hand, I can make a much better case against. Look at his posts in isolation. First fluff, then puts words in my mouth, then he focuses solely on me for a while, trying to get a wagon together. When that fails, he shifts his tunnel vision onto Silver, the current easy target, and damn near got that wagon to hammer. And recently, when several people have suggested Silver is just novtown, he's redirected the conversation again towards Silver.

UNVOTE: Hazard With a Glove (Maintaining
HOS: Hazard
. Notice how he's been quiet and trying to let the accusations against him just fade away and get forgotten?)
VOTE: drewoftherushes
