I hadn't tried to use a jetpack in the end before. Figured shooting arrows at the thing on top of a tower would take forever, so I jetted over there to use a sword instead. Big explosion, so I guess it wasn't the greatest idea LOL.

Also, I know I may be the only person who didn't know this, but don't breed them without apiarist protective armor things. They kill. Quickly.

Ditto for the nether bees, unless you fancy being on fire.

There are several like that. Some of the Modest (Desert) bee species devolp the 'Creeper' effect. Full Creeper explosion confined to the player, normal armor doesn't help

Are either of your working on tropicals? I haven't found any yet but I likely will try to find some tonight.

Oso - I'd need to automate those somehow. I'd like to make a set for each of us and I know I wont be able to do it manually to get the amount needed for even one set. Would you be able to help me out with that sometime tonight?

Mhm From Thermal Expansion. A bit expensive (requires... 8 ender pearls I believe) but it can send/receive power, liquid and items in a single block over any distance and between dimensions. I think power loss is 1%? or 2.5%? I can't remember, but with enough power it's negligible.

I have several Tropicals. Unfortunately, they are all of Ignoble stock so I have to get enough of the drones to imprint a Pristine Rocky but that shouldn't be a problem. 4 Ignoble Princesses should be enough to get a stack (or almost) of drones to do that with.

As to automation, the standard stuff applies to TE Itemducts and EIO Conduits. Gendustry's Industrial Apiaries have an Automation Upgrade that takes care of all that stuff internally without the need for any sort of piping. The only problem there is that once their internal inventory fills up, they shut down. To avoid that you still to use external piping of some sort to get the stuff out of the apiaries and into a chest or something. I should have plenty of time tonight. No plans that I can think of other than normal chores after say, 7:30 pm Pacific time.
