So there's currently a wither somewhat-loose in the nether. I'm working on tracking it down and killing it. Anyone know if safari nets work on them?

I might, as this post is about Nether Pathways.

I am considering hooking my Portal up to Spawn's Portal and Clamville's portal with protected pathways, similar, but better, to what I did in MafiaCraft. Anyone who would like to be included with this, give the OW or Nether Coords of your portals and I'll happily connect them into they system as well. I'm guessing that I'll use Clamville as the hub rather than Spawn, but both will be included.

If I find your wither while I'm surveying Izak, I'll take a swing at killing it.

Edit; PM me your coords here, post or tell me in IRC if you want to be included.

Survey #1 is now closed and some of the results have been collected in the aggregate below. Big thanks to everyone who responded - we got 10 responses, which is great considering the size of the server. We do have a few follow-up questions we want to ask and proposals we want an official vote on based upon these results, so keep on the look out for the next survey, likely going up in 2-4 weeks. 9:00 am PDT - September 20, 2013...rogue Wither was spotted. But officer was ill-equipped to handle the creature.

9:45 am PDT - September 20, 2013...above officer had re-armed himself and was in a running battle with some Ghasts when the alleged Wither showed up. No attempt was made to peacefully apprehend either the Ghasts or the Wither and all felons died at the scene.

The ALCU is lodging a formal protest because the officer did not even try to apprehend them peacefully. When asked, the ranking authority stated, and I quote, "Peacefully? The were 2 Ghasts and a friggin' Wither...."

Also, Vanilla stuff: the recent 13w38's reinforced my opinion of the somewhat laughable issues with these 1.7 snapshots. Until we get something that doesn't need a Version a, b, and c during a snapshot release, I'm not updating. Also CraftIRC is still 1.6.1 ONLY but I'm looking into another possible IRC solution.

So I was thinking about trying something new.

I'm gonna make a custom modpack, and play in ssp. This modpack will be tech free, focusing on thaumcraft, tinkers, and worldgen/dimensional mods (Biomes o plenty, Atum, Twilight Forest, and Aether2)

the new thing? I'm gonna play it in hardcore, and I'm gonna write a story about my adventure from the perspective of my player character. (Was thinking about nuzlockes this morning, and I decided I wanted to try one in Minecraft.)
