In a game with no guaranteed sanities and powerless mafia, and because there IS NO SANITY REVEAL UPON DEATH, a no-lynch is statistically better for town (Applying to Day 1 principles) and allows the person that wasn't lynched to try his action, giving town more leeway to figure out their sanities, and specially what sanities do not coincide (therefore scum).

I think that's the gist of it, feel free to dissect it. It's just somewthing that came to me a while ago and that I thought could be a good idea with proper discussion.

I'm more concerned with the quack and CPR docs killing Town and the weak doctors protecting scum. All three are bad. All three happening at the same time is worse. Mass doc protects on the nurse fix that.

Plus, the nurse is now effectively an innocent child + nurse.

I actually agree on Alm though. Though, it's nice to see him not tunneling on me, for a change(2/2 games, he tunneled the hell out of me after replacing in. >.>.).

I'd like people to weigh in on strategy vs. no strategy and give reasons. Also, are there people here who have seen/played this setup before? It seems...swingy.

Here's the thing about Esp - EVEN IF claiming turns out to be a good idea, there was nooo way Esp knew this at the time. Otherwise, he would've backed it up with his grand strategy of breakage, right? Right. Instead he just waltzes in and is like, LOL WHERES THE CONFIRMED TOWNIE.

2) Someone please explain to me how massclaiming would reveal sanity in any way. I could understand doing an ordered targeting for night actions, but even then it doesn't work all that well.
