  2. Be civil to each other. If you feel this rule is being violated, PM me with your complaint and the offending posts.
  3. Using or attempting to use loopholes in the rules to fulfill your win condition is not cool.
  4. No small or invisible text, making codes, or just general jackassery.
  4a. On that note, quoting or using the structure of the role PM in any way is a two-strike deal. If you do it once, you get a warning. Maybe. You do it twice, modkill. Two strikes, you're out.
  5. No editing or deleting your posts for ANY reason, if you have the power.
  6. Roles triumph rules. If there is a conflict between the rules and the role, the role wins.
  7. Do not communicate about the game outside of this thread.
  8. When you're dead, you stay dead. No "bah" post. Nothing.

Gameplay

• 1. All votes and unvotes should be

  2a. Rule 2 is not applicable if there is not a FoS count. There is not an FoS count.

  4. Any option for the town requires a majority of votes. The majority will be stated in every votecount but will generally be defined as (n/2 + 1) with even numbers and (n/2 + .5) with odd numbers.
  5. Players can vote to not take action or null vote. If enough null votes are reached to make any other choice impossible, no action will be taken(aka no lynch).
  6. If a majority is not reached by the specified deadline, the null action will be taken.

Deadlines and Prods

• 1. Deadline starts at two weeks at the beginning of Day 1.
  2. Every day of time not used during Day 1 will carry over to the next Day plus two weeks. This will continue, banking deadlines, until the end of the game.
  3. If you feel the need to replace out of my game for whatever reason, please tell me. Simply flaking out is bad for my view of you and may result in future banishment from my games. Man up.
  4. Any non-Day phases(Night, Twilight, Dawn, etc) will have variable deadlines which will be specified in rule 4a.
  4a. Night will last 72 hours after the day ends.
  5. A prod will go out if the player is inactive for 48 hours or more without notifying the mod of V/LA or other issues.
  6. A player can be prodded three times before being replaced. If a player is prodded and does not respond to that prod in 24 hours, he will be replaced.
  7. If the about-to-be-prodded player makes a post before he is actually prodded, he will dodge that prod.
  8. I will prod on request though this may or may not count on their prod count, depending.

Special Rules

• 1. I want to especially stress that the flavor in this game is only for your(the player's) and my(the moderator's) amusement and should not be used in the game as a tool to scumhunt. This is your first and only warning.
  2. As a corollary to rule 1, all role PMs, with the exception of the vanilla town PM(if they exist), are unique from a flavor perspective.

It was a peaceful day up in the mountains, with the day going perfectly splendidly up in the aptly named HOTEL DEATH. There were hardly any guests besides the eighteen people who had made some last minute reservations and ended up just south of the Middle of Nowhere. They were mostly staying in their rooms, some of them occasionally venturing down the pools for an enjoyable swim despite the chill outside. Swimming was fun no matter what the external temperature after all.

One unfortunate, by name of Jack, happened to go down to the pool one fateful evening and discovered, much to his horror, a body face-up, floating bloated in the water, blood running from a massive chest wound. What, exactly, had happened?

A meeting was quickly called to decide exactly what would happen with a MURDER AT HOTEL DEATH. Oh, and by the way, huge blizzard coming this way, we're expecting to be snowed in for the next week or so. Hmmmm.

Some time passes, yet some guests have yet to appear at the meeting. It's quite odd, seeing as it concerns everyone at the hotel. How odd. Hopefully, those players are not dead as well! Oh well. Let's try to get something done while they are gone, see if we can't figure out who these mysterious killers are!

Here is what I propose...we can use a parlor game to find the killers. Every day, we will vote on who we believe the killers are. Then, we shall hang them outside the hotel, leaving them to the elements. It's the only way...after all, no way can this be one person, right?

also here is something everyone can mull over during the random vote stage, I will be partially claiming today (no not a miller)..not anytime soon, it is not information for today, but information that town will need in the future.
