The debate team has its bake sale today, be sure to pick up a tastey treat and support them as they try to make it to the city finals this weekend.

The soccer team beat rivals Rio Americano HS yesterday 2-1, claiming a spot in the divison playoffs which start in two week.

Also on a more serious note, there seem to be a few of you who want to destroy this school, that is something that is not allowed. However due to certain rules and regualtions, we cannot do anything about it without some evidence. We feel you may be able to as well, you are all resourcefull students.

Also someone has been expelled. I am sure no one will even notice he is gone though.

Rules

[01] VOTING METHOD: Votes must be in bold. example:

before casting another vote, although I would appreciate it if you would.

[02] LYNCH: Lynching will require a simple majority of votes. Once a player has reached the necessary majority, any attempts to unvote will be unheeded.

[03] NO LYNCH: You may

vote: no lynch

unless it is deadline, majority votes of this kind are necessary to end the day without a death.

[04] DEADLINE: This game will have mandatory deadlines of, at most, 3 weeks. As the game whittles down its living membership deadlines may grow shorter. If I deem it necessary a player being replaced may extend the deadline.

[05] DEADLINE LYNCH RULES: As the At deadline, a person will be lynched if they have a majority of voters voting for them. That means you can be lynched with just one vote if only one person is voting. If no one has a majority of the votes cast, it is a no-lynch.

[06] NIGHT CHOICES: Night choices will be expected within 72 hours. If you do not inform me of a night choice you will forfiet it.

[07] LURKING AND NOT POSTING: Lurking is not an acceptable strategy in this game. Anyone who goes more than 72 hours without posting, without advance warning, will be prodded. (I count weekends as 48 hours.) Three prods in one day, or five through the entire game will result in you being forcibly replaced. Mafia is a social contract. Everyone is expected to give information and comment to be analysed. If this is uncomfortable for you, consider taking up solitaire instead.

[08] OUT OF THREAD COMMUNICATION: The game is not to be discussed outside the thread unless your role specifically states that you may do so, and then only in the manner stated in your role PM. Dont quote any out-of-thread communications regarding this game in the thread, this includes role PMs.

[09] BAH POSTS ARE ALLOWED: Once your death scene has been posted, youre dead. However, since I love Bah post you may absolutely make one "Bah" post. It should be short and should contain absolutely no game related opinion or information.

[10] TOO CLEVER BY HALF RULE: No small or hidden text or obscure codes. Dont edit/delete previously submitted posts either.

[11] CLAIMING PARTNERS: It is againt the rules to say you are mafia with anyone. This is true regardless of your alignment and if you are telling the truth or not. Breaking this rule results in an immediate modkill.

[12] VACATION? LIMITED ACCESS? If you anticipate being unavailable for more than a 48-hour period, please post a notice to that effect in this game thread. Treat this game as a commitment. Be considerate dont leave us hanging.

[13] FALLIBILITY CLAUSE: Unlike other mods I am fallible. Please point out any mistakes I make gently. In particular, if I post a vote count that does not accurately reflect your vote, it is your responsibility to correct me -- otherwise your vote may be treated as it appears in the vote count.

I have no idea what the popularity levels mean at this stage, and I'm guessing the popularity levels wont have that much of an effect on players being town/scum.

Also Andrius, didn't you learn from the last game we played together to not go outing yourself even if you're a vanilla? It means less people the scum need to look at to get to the power roles. I don't think you'll have forgotten that so quickly.

Popularity levels are, as I understand it, the way to neighborize other people. You can only neighborize people who have a lower number than you. So you have more power if you have a higher number.

I didn't claim a role. Hell, it could have been WIFOM. /learning from ReaperCharlie

I thought of RVS voting vollkan for the same reason, but opted against it, Prana.

I know that a mass popularity number claim wouldn't be hugely beneficial in terms of scumhunting, but it would help ensure success at neighborizing. That's all I wanted to get.

Yes, but then there are scum who could say they had a lower popularity level , so less popular townies try to qt with them. Also, scum could then pick and choose whoever is lower than them and more impressionable and there you have it, you got a townie convinced that scum is town because of a qt
