How it works


Players are randomly assigned to a column.
All players must submit
two
preferences for components from within that column.
Players will gain their first preference guaranteed.
In the event of two players choosing the same component, a coin will be flipped to determine who gets their first choice, and who gets their second.
All other components of the role are randomly assigned amongst players, with one component taken from each column.
There will be no duplicates.

What does it all mean?!


Negative:


Spoiler:
Trolled:
When you target someone, you will "copy" their negative effect. This effect is cumulative.

Slow:
Your actions will happen the following day or night. For instance, if you Vig someone N1 the vig will go through N2.

Brazen:
When you target someone, your action and what you actioned with will be known to a random member of the opposite faction at the end of the night.

Miller:
You will always appear "guilty" to investigative reports.

Loving:
If your target is lynched the following day, you will die as well.

Magnetic:
After you target someone, you must subsquently target them for the rest of the game whenever you wish to action as long as they are alive. If they die, the process starts over.

Macho:
You cannot be protected from kills in any way.


Positive:

The first kill on you will not work.

Vengeful:
When you are lynched, you can choose to kill someone on your wagon.

Ascetic:
All night actions directed at you are reflexively roleblocked and have no effect except kills.

Bending:
You may redirect any actions used on you during the day to a target of your choosing.

Ninja:
Does not count as visiting for any actions.

Loved:
Takes 1 more vote to lynch than the rest of the players.

Copying:
When you target someone, you will "copy" their positive effect. This effect is cumulative.

Neighborizing:
Gain a QT with your target each night. For every target there will be a fresh QT.


Utility:

Normal night use, you have no role restrictions.

Psychic:
When you action, submit a guess as to what your target's role is. If you guess correctly, you gain a second shot of your action to be used at your discretion.

Day:
You may only use your power during the day.

Non Consecutive:
You may not use your power two nights in a row.

Double-Shot:
You have two shots of your power which you may use either at the same time or spread across different nights.

Anxious:
You can only action during the day before the halfway point of the deadline. For example, if the deadline is 7 days, you can only action in the first 3 1/2 days of the phase.

Gladiatorial:
You can only use your action during the night on people who voted for you during the day.

Bloodthirsty:
If there is ever a no-lynch, you cannot action on the following night. However you can action normally like 'Unlimited' if this is not the case.


Roles:

Cop for town, Rolecop for scum. Cops will receive either "Guilty or Innocent". Rolecops will receive their targets Role (e.g Doctor, Roleblocker, etc).
Day Version - Cop/Rolecop:
No difference.

Doctor:
Protect your target from kills. No self doctoring.
Day Version - Governor:
After the majority has been hit during twilight if you so wish you can reverse the lynch and prevent the lynchee from being lynched.

Tracker:
Track your target during the night to find out who he visited.
Day Version - Gunsmith:
Find out whether your target owns a gun. Includes mafia, vigilantes and cops.

Watcher:
Watch your target during the night to find out who visits him or her. No self watching.
Day Version - Blacksmith:
Find out whether your target is a protective role. Includes doctors and jailkeepers.

Vigilante:
Kill somebody during the night.
Day Version - Vigilante:
No difference.

Redirector:
Your targets actions will be redirected into a secondary target of your choosing.
Day Version - Vote Thief:
Target someone, they lose their vote for today and it becomes yours.

Roleblocker:
Your target will not perform any actions. You stop their role from working for a night.
Day Version - Vote Blocker:
Target someone, their vote is nullified for the rest of the day, meaning they cannot vote/its useless.

Jailkeeper:
Your target is both Doctored and Roleblocked, meaning they cannot be killed and they will not perform any actions.
Day Version - Warden:
Your target is Vote Blocked and cannot be lynched for that day.

This is an upcoming Mini Theme game of mine.

Features:

As before with my games, roles are standard mafia roles or standard mafia roles with modest modifications.

No cults, jesters, or other sillypantsery.

Flavor knowledge is not required to play. It may allow you to notice some enjoyable in-jokes, as in Philosophy Mafia, but I can't see how it will have much effect on play.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Legacy
, a 21 player Large Theme based on the Harry Potter and Metal Gear Solid universes, will be hitting the Large Theme list as soon as I get a backup mod (hopefully within a week), so I am now accepting pre-ins. There are 10 pre-in slots available.

The only requirements to play are:
a) I know that you know how we play here on this site
b) you are not going to be a detriment to your faction if you are allowed in. This means people who have a history of playing against wincon, claiming scum, self hammering, not trying to prevent their own lynch, trolling games, etc.
c) no hydras.

Double Elimination


5p Micro. Next up in the micro queue.

In this game, every person gets two roles at the start of the game: a first role and a second role. They launch into the game with the first role active. If they die, they get their second role at the start of the next Day or Night (i.e. if killed at night, they get it at the start of the next Day)

The role you are when the game ends determines whether you win or lose. Your overall win condition is simply to win: you do NOT have to "play to your win con" while you are one role -- you may, in fact, try to get killed to move to your second role. The game ends when either there are no more mafia or no more town alive AT THAT MOMENT. So beware sacrificing yourself as mafia. If you were the only one alive at that time, you lose!

Scum do not know each others' identities. This means that it is possible at some point in the game that it will turn into reverse mafia.

Warnings:

1. Fairly quick deadlines. 1 week Days, 48 hour Nights.
2. This is obviously an experimental setup. Balance is to hope, but not expect, to see. I've done my level best in that department, however.

Based on the popular board game, this mini theme for 13 players will allow players to pick their race/modifier combination from a set list sent to them at the start of the game!

Potential powers and mechanics will be based on those races, and alignments will be randomized.

Breaking Bad Mafia


- An upcoming mini theme, this game will be heavily flavored around the first
4
seasons of the show. Any characters or flavor in season 5 will not be present, only up to the very end of Season 4. You do not require flavor knowledge to play, but it does make the game much more enjoyable.

- The game will hold 13 players, and I can guarantee will not include any cults, jesters, lynchers, or survivors. The game is also guaranteed to not have any bastard qualities or mechanics.

- I will accept up to 5 pre-ins, if there is a larger interest i'll allow a couple more for a maximum of 7.

Goon cops only get guilty results on goons (duh), will get innocent results on the secretary and town players.

If the secretary dies, one of the goons dies with him. If both goons are still alive when the secretary is lynched, a lone goon will have to win the game by himself. If one or both goons are already dead, the secretary's lynch is an instant town win.

Before the start of D1, the three mafia will get to select which one of them will be the Secretary. Mafia will have full daytalk throughout the game.

Game is now taking signups in the Open Game List.

3 scum vs. 6 town

Each town member is given in their role pm a 100% sane-cop guilty result.

Scum have day talk and a 48 hour pre-game planning window. The scum will decide which town player gets a guilty on which scum member.

If scum is lynched D1, it's a town win. If town is lynched D1, it's a scum win. No lynch is a scum victory.

One month deadline. 72 hour activity requirements.

Hello, my name is David Bowie and I am writing to cordially invite you to the biggest event of your afterlife! I am hosting a New Year’s masquerade ball inspired by one of the settings from my classic film

. The event will involve live guests, too, so in order to preserve a sense of mystery about the afterlife, we will be concealing our identities.
