Only for Base 1. It would keep people from going "Oh, I'm not getting picked today, so I don't need to post" but also finds the Empire at the same time.

Or alternativley, choose mostly people who don't post. That way, there is more discussion, and a better chance of being able to root out Empire.

I'd be okay with either SSBF or animo's plan. Upon more thought (and with his further explaining it, thank you ani) I think he has a decent idea.
I admit that now that I'm not the one proposing a plan, I end up feeling a bit distrustful to SSBF's plan, which helps me realize how he felt to mine (in which I even added myself). So while I worry that he's placed scum in it, I have to admit that it's no worse than my plan. Probably.


However, Me=Weird shouldn't finalize his proposal until everyone has spoken up. We have too many lurkers right now.

I like SSBF's idea more than choosing randomly. For one thing, like Cybele said, it can be faked. But in general, I just don't like doing things for games like this randomly.

But, I suppose it doesn't matter all that much for Base 1 since either way it gives us something. If we succeed, well, we succeeded and have 1 base down. Also, decreased, but not completely removed, suspicion on the 3 of us. If we fail, everyone would know that one of the 3 of us is Empire.

I know that and all. I just saying you were relatively experienced in Mafia. Given that The Resistance is suppose to be similar to Mafia in some ways, I'm sure some knowledge of Mafia you have can transfer to this game.

Just to point out, in this game, scum don't want to do this. I've been thinking about this game a lot, and one thing I thought of is that at least one Empire player will want to make sure that here is an Empire player on the attack team, so saying that someone is not contributing isn't much of a tell in this game, IMHO.

Honestly, I have nothing to contribute that hasn't been said already. I see no reason to dispute any nomination beside someone nominating themselves.*coughcybelecough*
