Nah, doesn't rhyme.
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.

Well, they make an awesome milkshake. Years ago, they used to make an awesome burger, but that's fallen by the wayside.

I think Burgerville is an Oregon/Washinton thing only. I don't think they go further south than Corvallis, or further North than.. Olympia I think it is.

I just ate at In-N-Out for the first time last week and I don't remember Burgerville's burgers ever tasting that good. I do like their fish and chips and breakfast sandwiches, but they're way overpriced for me. The chain was founded in Vancouver, so their locations are all clustered around Portland/SW Washington.

If people want to all go see a movie, I'd recommend a McMenamins for the beer and cheap ticket prices. Edgefield's probably not far, so you could even do their little pitch and putt course if people want to golf.

I'm still really iffy and would only show up for a Friday or Saturday evening, but would help with funds for the suite if I make it.

If we're going to go out to a restaurant, and don't want to go to a fast food joint, then we should probably decide where we're going and how much we're willing to spend in advance. Are we looking at a wafflehouse or a steakhouse? Because if this is something I'll have to save up for, I'd like to know in advance.

Steakhouse? What kind of cheap joints are you trying to get us into?

I want gourmet sushi freshly imported day of from Japan and prepared in front of me by a professional gourmet chef.

That would be too pricey for me. Pitch and putt at the Edgefield is a lot of fun.

But how can you beat a game of mafia while white water rafting?

Lynch a player.
Throw him/her off the raft.
Nightkill a player.
Off the raft.

If I am thrown from a raft into rapids, we'll have a reason to call Scumstorm 2011 Fabio's Revenge. We could tone it down a bit and play as a drinking game, but Sudo will need a pinch-drinker.

Mainly, I'm just bumping this because I'm spamming GD and would feel bad not posting here.

Pinch-drinker? Way to call out my one and only weakness in front of everyone, Ythill. Really fucking
classy

No worry Sudo_Nym, Troll was once the designated drinker for a bowling team. Troll's tolerance and consumption habits no be what them once were but Troll can certainly drink for two in your average mafia-based drinking games with no trouble. Troll has your back (or at least your drinks.)

Should Troll start looking into buying train tickets for this at this point? How set do the dates be now?

If choosing to not drink alcohol is a weakness, something is seriously wrong with our society.
Zorb wrote:Should Troll start looking into buying train tickets for this at this point? How set do the dates be now?
I haven't reserved the suite yet, so not that set. How far in advance do you need to buy them?
Is anyone else flying/bussing/railing in? If so, how far in advance do you need concrete dates?

It probably be worth pointing out that Troll could probably be fine with as little as a week's advanced notice as trains no fill up that far in advance normally and we no be doing something on a holiday weekend so far as Troll knows. Troll simply likes to be prepared further in advance when possible sometimes.
